    Northeast Tennessee here!
Soda, sub, lightning bug, couch, and buggy.
Oh and my Dad still refers to his clothes closet as a 'wardrobe'.

I'm from northwestern WA (Seattle area) People here say soda or pop. I used to say pop more as a kid and now I say Soda more. We don't have Firefly/Lightning Bugs, but I would call them Fireflies, I guess. I say sub sandwiches, and couch for a long couch and sofa/loveseat for a short couch but maybe that's just me. Bathroom, but sometimes I throw "Restroom" in there for variety.

I lived in West Virginia for a little while and picked up random stuff like 'buggy' for a shopping cart. Man, do I get strange looks.

Washington state, with a little bit of Utah mixed in with a German mother.

    Soda
    Subs
Fireflies or lightning bugs (depending where I"m at)
Couch seats more than two, sofa seats two

I also say "Oh my heck!"
Capiche? Instead of "do you understand me?"

And not sure where it comes from but "how come why for?" Instead of "why did you do that? "

I think the strangest thing I heard was when I lived in Ohio for three years, some people would say hamburg instead of hamburger and jn Utah everyone referred to jeans as Levi's no matter what brand they were...
