So.. to ignore all the attacks and negativity.. I will respond to the OP's ?

First.. yes I am a BB Coach.. what makes me qualified? Because I use the products/programs and I've lost over 60 pounds and that experience lets me help others.

    To answer the ?
3 Day Refresh is a body detox to restart to a clean eating habit.
Yes you may loose a few inches or pounds doing so. It gets rid of the bad and ready for the good.

I just finished the 3 Day Refresh. It has a shake.. A fiber drink.. then two other shakes later in the day. Along with all of that.. I eat fresh fruit, veggies, and 2 portions of healthy fats. You can also drink non caffeinated tea and water as well.

Tomorrow I will actually be posting my results and my in depth review. All in all.. I feel great.. I am not hungry.. I have energy.. NO cravings.. and got rid of the bad july 4th indulgence. I would totally do it again as well to flush my system WITHOUT starving myself.

I'm sorry what "bad" are you getting rid of with the Refresh that your kidneys, liver and colon weren't going to "get rid of" anyway?

I got rid of the junk I ate over the holiday. I got my body back into clean mode.. those toxins gone.. I have energy again.. I don't feel cloudy.. that is the 'bad'.. Sure my organs will do it over time.. but I wanted to give myself 3 solid days of cleansing.

You did not get rid of any toxins.

    What is clean mode?

    What did you cleanse?

    Just askin.

Define toxin... and what is this "food"(?)/shake going to do to remove it? That your body will not do? Also if the shake/program is doing it and not your natural equipment (liver & kidneys namely) what is happening to said toxin that it is no longer with you, where is it going?

    question @Jaelee

Was suppose to be a quote- oops!

Condescension.. feels great. Fiber sweet gets rid of the waste in the digestive system and supports a healthy intestinal flora.
The program provides healthy nutrition and to get rid of (for me) processed foods... refined sugars... and bad fats that I ate over the 4th of July weekend. Yes my organs can do that too.. but this was a help.

I'd love to give more information to those who are not acting.. or typing so rude. If you are THAT interested in exactly what it does.. then how about you research the information for yourself. I am all for helping people.. and I have a VERY thick skin..so feel free to keep conducting yourselves in this behavior.

As far as how it went for me... this is my experience:

    3 Day Refresh = Success
I have never done any type of cleanse or detox before.. mainly because they seemed to all require just a drink of some concoction and NO food. Well.. I need food.. I probably have the worst hunger pains out of anyone ever lol.. and I definitely get very Hangry when I don't eat. So I knew those would NEVER work for me. After reading information on the 3 Day Refresh.. I figured this is something that I could do.Food is still involved! Fresh Food!
So before I started I took my weight.. 193.6 ugh I hate saying that but.. it is what it is... and only a few measurements. 1st day started and it was on. Shakeo in the morning with some fruit - easy.. a little green tea then the Fiber Sweep .. now this was the only thing that was not so great. To me it tasted like watered down half and half (iced tea and lemonade) but really grainy and thick. I chugged it as fast as I possible could. Whew.. glad that was over. Rest of the day was filled with veggies and some healthy fats.. a little more fruit.. two more cups of green tea of my choice and a different shake called Vanilla Refresh. All of which kept me full and satisfied. The Vanilla Refresh though.. man that tasted SO good.Seriously.. I will miss drinking that. I've heard it is similar to the Vanilla Shakeo (not sure cause right now I only drink Chocolate) so I may have to try it out soon. On day 1.. it is also my live Hip Hop class.. I have to say.. my energy levels were high all day, and I did not have a problem with over exhaustion at class.

Day 2 - pretty much the same in food choices - mainly carrots, snow peas, zucchini and broccoli with hummus and avocado as my healthy fats. Fruit was either grapes or banana. Same drinks again.. and this time the Fiber Sweep was a bit easier going down... 2 minutes and I was done... I don't usually have a real big workout on Tuesdays.. I do what I call the BIG walk in my neighborhood with my Husband and Son. There are some trying hills to do and I push the stroller for extra resistance. Its about a 45 minute or more walk.. depending on my how my legs feel lol. Second day complete with no problems.

Day 3 - .. ahhh the last day. AND Live Insanity Day.. You are probably wondering why I chose to do the refresh while it lands on two of my hardest workout days... well.. I simply wanted to know what my energy would be like and if I felt differently during class. Answer is.. Nope.. not at all. My Energy levels have been high.. I feel focus and clear headed.. I feel clean (inside) and to use the word.. I feel Refreshed. End weight was 190.1 = a 3.5 pound loss (WOOT) and 1 lost 1 inch off my waist and 1 inch off my hips. All around I have VERY happy with my results.. my first mini goal is to be under 190 (since I haven't been able to hit that since Carter was born) so I am SUPER close to that mini goal. All in all I think this is a great little cleanse and detox before a vacation.. a major event (wedding, family reunion).. or to jump start your month and a clean eating regimen. Thumbs up for this one!!!!

You do realize it's 99% water weight right? Personally I'm just curious about what happens when you start eating normally again (even at a deficit). It's funny because I haven't seen ANYONE mention that anywhere.

I've just realized that the word "coach" is much nicer sounding than "bottom rung salesperson in a MLM program" ... however only the latter is accurate since even Beachbody "coaches" admit they are neither fitness experts nor nurtitionists.

I guess that depends on who you are referring to. The group that I work with promotes getting the appropriate credentials in order to better direct clients. Many are certified personal trainers, many others are certified weight loss and nutrition specialists. You're decision to group all coaches into the same bubble of "pushy salesman" is greatly unfounded and is the main reason most that truly care about helping people avoid these forums like the plague.

coach- means you have something to offer- some something qualifiable. If you say you're a coach- you need to provide qualifications.

but you're NOT a fitness expert

    and you're NOT a nutirionalist.

so exactly what makes you a coach?

And why do you need to be a "coach" to encourage and support people- there are several people here who DO have qualifications- ARE fitness professionals and ARE here encouraging people without being a coach.

So- I don't think it's to much to ask you to explain yourself.

"The term coaching may be applied to an informal relationship between two individuals where one has greater experience and expertise than the other and offers advice and guidance as the other goes through a learning process, but coaching differs from mentoring by focusing upon competence specifics, as opposed to general overall development."

I am not a beachbody coach, customer or fan...but I respect the experiences of others who are one of the above and may have some insight to give. Just like I may gain something from some of your posts, or others on here who may or may not have Professional certifications. I don't think this site is about finding professional help, it's just about help and advice.

I see posts on here all the time attacking others for their different approaches tried for their weight loss or fitness goals. The beauty of this site is to find new and differing approaches or like minded new "friends". However the ugly of this site are people who join to 'troll' and attack others claims, questions or beliefs.

I wish everyone on here success on their journey and love reading all the helpful and snarky comments.

Depending on the team you are in depends on the experience of the people. The team I belong too has PT's, behavioral therapists, trainers, nutritionists, and the list goes on. A lot of these same people have gone through instructor certifications and they continue to get program certifications. I am also planning on doing these things as well. My intention on being a Coach is to help people. I have struggled with weight loss and if what worked for me will work for them great. If I end up making money.. great... my career is already amazing.. and I love what I do.. so I treat coaching as a fun hobby with extra perks. And I still give my all to what I do with it. People can talk **** all they want about beachbody and the coaches.. negativity doesn't affect me and I just ignore it. I want to be surrounded by those that want to help.. inspire.. and have an open mind about different things. There are BB programs I don't care for.. and instead of bashing it.. I just don't talk about them. No need too.

and wetcoaster.... I cleansed my body of the processed foods that I ate. The toxins in processed foods is what I got rid of by eating whole foods, natural foods, and fortified foods. I typically eat organic.. non gmo.. home made foods, fresh veggies and fruits. CLEAN FOOD.. so getting myself into CLEAN MODE.. I got rid of processed foods, nitrates, synthetic, artificial crap etc. I don't normally eat like this.. so it was my intention to get it out of my system. Processed food - toxins.. artificial food = toxins etc etc. I really hope that makes sense cause I can't make it any more clear.

I think what people are asking is, what specific toxins are present in these "processed, artificial" foods of which you speak. Please, be specific. It would also be nice if you would list exactly which foods contain these toxins, as we should probably notify the manufacturers and the FDA. Generally, foods tainted with poisons are taken of the shelves immediately in order to prevent death.

Yes I eat all organic foods if it is in my control

Um.. there are many ingredients that are in processed food that are not good for you.. or may be carcinogenic etc etc. Do your own research to find out it out. Processed foods aren't good in general.. I thought this was common knowledge. Anything processed.. hot dogs... sausage.. some frozen foods... etc etc list goes on. They contain a lot of ingredients that your body has a hard time digesting. Again do your research.. I have and still continue to do so to find out what is good for my body and what isn't.
And to name JUST ONE... Carrageenan .. it is a thickener.. mainly for diary and it is carcinogenic.

I think I have answered your questions.. you just aren't getting the answers you want. Sorry for that.

Actually it's the perfect description of the BeachBody business model where the term "coach" is used in place of "MLM salesperson".

You've failed to answer the most basic questions which is the problem with BeachBody. When the failure to answer basic questions is noted or that you work for a MLM scheme gets mentioned ... pseudo-"coaches" rant that there is negativity.

Of course, BB success is recruiting coaches under you to increase your standing ... not actually having a clue as to what you sell or how it is supposed to work (realizing it doesn't work could result in leaving BB which most "coaches" do anyway by BB's own admission).

If you make a profound claim about the scary toxins in processed foods, then it is your job to back up that claim with some sort of evidence. Also, what negative effect does carrageenan have on our bodies, and why is it considered a "toxin"? It seems that it has been used for a very long time, it comes from seaweed, and it can be made at home. What is dangerous about it, and how is BeachBody's 3 Day Refresh the only way that we can rid our bodies of it?

I am pretty sure I have answered all the questions asked. he said name one toxin.. and I did. I also explained what clean mode means to me and my body. I even suggested a link to get a more in depth answer on the product. If you don't like the answers I am giving.. not my problem. If you are looking for a AHA miracle.. sorry.. don't have that either. If you think you KNOW the answer.. then don't be suggestive that I don't know what I am talking about. Not much more I can explain..

If you are also not knowledgeable about the consumption of GMOs, processed foods, and other ingredients that your body find hard to break down or digest.. then I think a little more food education is in order. Do you HAVE to do the 3 day refresh? of course not.. do I find that it worked for me and I feel better.. yes! You don't have to agree..

And people are being negative.. I don't care what they have mentioned.. that is their opinion. It is the fact that people are jabbing for recreation and to get reactions.

I am now going to move on to another topic somewhere that is a little more inspiring and motivating to me..
