We tried so hard not to be trendy with our kids. We wanted to go with names that had meaning to us and that we hadn't heard often. But apparently we accidentally threw in with a trend because my son is always one of at least two Henrys in his class, and my daughter is constantly meeting other Libertys. (At least so far we've only found one other Ferris - and he's so disappointed by that! lol) We're done with kids, but I have a HUGE arsenal of names if we ever get a dog...
Awww, Ferris is a really cool name though!0 -
I question some people's ability to name their children but they might for me. I want my children's name to be unique, keeping with tradition with having a name from someone else in family in name, and maybe old school, yes, and I like the whole two middle name thing so Social Security and Background checks are easy for them. My favorites are
Theadora Ethel Mary
Greyson Alexander John
Scarlett Aida Marie
Guinevere Isla Dessie
Tristan Cooper James

That boat has sailed for me, but I recently decided that the kids I will never have should be named Spencer for a girl and Gideon for a boy. (No need for condolences, folks; I'm childless by choice but just happened to find those names cute... I met a little girl named Spencer once and I love that name for a girl!)0

I met a girl named Dylan once. Never would have considered it before, but it really worked for her.0
