    Still behind on my goal of 200 and not going to make it. But on the positive side of things, my arm is nearly completely healed after my running fall and I ran my first 20 mile training run today! And it went well!

    Thanks. I started out really slow (think 13+ minute/miles) and just kept running. It got easier, then fun, & now I'm totally hooked.

    9/11: 2.9 mi on treadmill (walking but I'm counting it as I'm slightly injured but keeping muscles warm for race on Saturday)
    9/13: 3.1 RACE DAY! Cut off 2 minutes on my 5k time. 35:42
    9/15: 3.5 mi on treadmill
    9/17: 1.5 on treadmill
    9/20: 2.6 mi outside
    9/22: 3.75 mi (3 miles easy + 4 strides) <---Starting a 10K training plan...EEEEK!

    Seems I was in a daze logging miles the last few days & missed reading the posts:
    @ ShortMrsN- Hope you kick that headcold. It's hard to run when you can't breathe.
    @ davis_em- Love that you're running with your son... I do a fair amount of turning around and 'gathering in' my girls when I run with them. Running is a wonderful activity to share with your children, isn't it?
    @ Stoshew71- Wow, 22 miles last Saturday- NICE RUN!
