Do i really need to give up carbs for a tight tummy?!? I was told this, but im not sure?

    Don't listen to them, they are wrong. The main reason lowering carbs makes you lose weight is because you are also lowering your overall calories. Same thing if you stay off them and re-introduce them at a later point -> you are just eating more calories again.

    What matters is calories consumed vs. calories burned. You consume more than you burn > you gain. You burn more than you consume, you lose. Calculate your TDEE (calories to maintain your weight) and subtract 15-20%. Eat that amount, add some exercise and you'll be fine. :)
