Nope, cant get to sleep if I do.

Not against the idea.

That said if there was an emergency during the night and I needed to get out of the house I would rater not have to try find some clothes first.

Yes. I keep my clothes in my nightstand in case I have to get dressed quickly. If we are visiting someone's house, I usually sleep in something.

I used to wear jammies or sports bra and undies. Since the husband and I got together, I'm not allowed to sleep with clothing on. It's comfy.
