Starting weight is 179.5. I plan on using the treadmill 3 times a week doing couch to 5K. The others days I will strength train and start using the gym at work once I learn the machines.0

Well, first day of the year, and what did my scales say when I stept on it this morning? "Lo", ie, "change the battery". Given I don't expect I'll be able to find any of these large button batteries on New Year's Day, I'll have to go with the weight of 2 days ago. Which is slightly cheating as I was quite pre-menstrual then, more than today:

Exercise plan for this week is to get to the gym I joined months ago and hardly went to! Really want to get a regular exercise plan sorted too so that will also be my exercise goal this week.

Well here we go lets get this challenge off to a good start.

My exercise goal is to get 250-300 min of exercise a week.
This will include 2 hour long Zumba classes...120 min
I will be mixing up the rest of my time between p90x, insanity, turbo fire, treadmill and walking the dog.

Plan this week is a little crazy because we are away part of it, but this AM I did the elyptical and a little yoga stretch. Tomorrow and Monday we will be playing all day at an indoor water park. Starting Tuesday it will be 45 min of Kinect "Your Shape" 3-4 days a week, 3 days a week "Fitness Frenzy" at the Y, and a day of Yoga on Saturdays when I can make the class.

So excited abuot this!!! Starting weight 229 lbs. My excercise goals are to actually use the couple of cardio dvds I have at the house, take the steps at work, walk, walk, walk, stretches (for my back that I should be doing anyways) and glider. I plan to do some kind of excercise 5-7 days a week alternating between the different types to keep from getting bored!!!

Cardio - at least 300 mins per week. 5x 60 mins or make up extra on weekend if needed.
