Wow, dinos, you are amazing. Thanks for tracking this and posting the chart. I'm a newbie to MFP, and am finding this challenge to be a great motivator.
How do you track this? I did 4 miles this morning and updated my ticker at tickerfactory, but didn't yet post my new 4 miles to the message board--yet, you've got my current totatl on the chart? I'm just curious--a sort of techno-geek--not paranoid.

Apart from the fact that I can foretell the future I check your older posts. Once you update your ticker it shows there0 -

To get 500 calories burned I did Turbo Fire CORE 20, Stretch 10, 3 miles on the elliptical and a 1/2 mile walking pulling my GS on the sled for mail.
Thank you Dino, your the man!!!!!0 -
Got my 2 mile beach walk in today!0

4.02 miles tonight for our Friday Date Night!! Nice jog through the park and back. ps...Why do cars feel the need to honk at you as they pass by? Seriously....0
-
25 people in the thread committed to move 2,015 miles.
412 miles were completed (20.5%) by Friday noon.
The chart shows our progress towards our individual goals.
The spreadsheet with all the numbers is at: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=t1x753bTBrxrTFRr78rnSQQ&authkey=CP7Sp94C&authkey=CP7Sp94C#gid=0
Thank you so much for doing this! You rock! ps...what does it mean that some of the names are highlighted in green on the other chart? Thanks again!!!0 -
Thank you all for being so nice :blushing: The fact is that you are doing all the hard work moving your butts, I just keep a spreadsheet updated.
@ kitty the cells highlighted in green show that you are on track to meet your goal on time.
P.S. I wonder why cars honk at you but they never honk at me :ohwell:0 -

+ 3 Biggest Loser Power Walk miles. I need pick up my pace this week... I thought 2 miles a day of walking- jogging --only-- would be a piece of cake when I set my goal.. its not time wise.
THANKS Dinos!!!! :drinker:0 -
Way to go everybody! First week down!!!!!
I used the treadmill twice today, 3 miles this morning and 3 miles this evening!!! Had to walk off some See's Peanut Brittle!!0 -
Need to make a correction to my 1/9/11 total miles. I was scheduled to walk 4 miles, but only walked 2.5.
I'm beginning to realize that trying to put in miles on the treadmill at the end of the day is more exhausting for me than when I do it in the morning or afternoon. :noway:
So, again, total miles walked on the treadmill today 1/9/11 = 2.5miles
Here's to another day tomorrow :drinker:0 -
@ winterborn welcome to the challenge.
@ nemrenu: It's a lot harder and more time-consuming to clock miles on foot. A distance that takes me 1 hour to ride on the bike, will take me roughly 2 hours to run it and 3 hours to walk it. An extra difficulty is that running doesn't allow for coasting :ohwell:
Total miles in the challenge 557.7 by 26 active people (27% of 2,035 miles targeted).
I went for a 6 mile hike on Sunday morning to Mt Parnitha, just outside Athens. This is at the start of the hike:
On the way
The next picture is a little misleading. It's not as high as it seems with the low clouds, it's only about 4,800 ft high and I'm standing at the top looking SE. The mountain to the right is Penteli, where the Parthenon marbles came from. Further back is the Aegean Sea.
