Down another 2.5 lbs, and it feels great! I went away for the weekend with some girlfriends, and I got in a workout and watched my portion sizes and it payed off! This new healthier me feels great!!!

Today, I had to stay after school because there is a home basketball game, and I direct the band. I live 30 minutes from school, and it just doesn't make sense to drive all the way home and back. Well, the librarian (who I've become pretty good friends with this year) is starting a zumba class using the DVDs a couple days a week after school. It's for staff and students. I had told her I'd do it, but I forgot that today was the first day! I thought about backing out, but I just couldn't leave her in there with 6 students and no other adults. So I got my Zumba on in my work clothes! Luckily I had on my band t-shirt, but I had on dress pants. I have extra t-shirts I can change into, but I'm still gonna be a bit ripe. Oh well. It was fun. Nextr problem, I've eaten everything I brought with me for dinner and still have 1000 calories left! I have easy mac (kept here for the kids), pb&j (kids again), and concession stand as my choices. "Good me" says pb&j. "Bad me" says WALKING TACO! I'll let you know which one wins!0

This month was like a roller coaster...TOM really through me off my programme hopefully that wont happen again...I'm happy to see I'm coming back down even though my excercising was not what it should be...now to keep pressing one...only 5 months till my friends wedding and I still have about 40 lbs to go...Wish me luck

I am still on track to hit my mini goal next week! I actually hit it yesterday, but then I took a second day off from exercise and had a big meal with friends so today was not a good weigh in day. How have you been?
It's been busy! I'm in my second year of medical school, getting ready for Board Exams, getting a divorce, been a single parent since my husband has been in Antarctica... whew! But, I've put on about 7 pounds since reaching my low of 154, so I need to get back on the wagon! So here's my weigh in for this week:

I had one day that I was down to 161, but on weigh in day it was back up to 162. Oh well. (Yes I weigh myself more than once a week. I get curious as to what different foods, activities, etc do.) I had to skip Zumba last night to go grocery shopping. Since I was gone most of the weekend, that was a must! I was hoping to get some in after school today, but the coordinator for the zumba here at school is sick. So I'm not sure if it will happen. If not, I suppose I'll go home and do some Wii Fit.0
