Okay ... went back to the doctors to see if it's normal to be feeling so yucky with the antibiotics and she said that’s just what antibiotics do ... they wreak havoc on the digestive system ... so I'll suck it up and I'll be done with them on Monday. I've decided to give myself a break for now. My tummy feels better when there's something in it and I'll get back to fighting the fight starting on Tuesday. Sometimes you just have to roll with it.

I’ve also had terribly sore feet for a couple of months now. I was told by a doctor years ago that I have arthritis in my feet. They hurt sometimes and then it will stop and so on and so on. But this time it’s just getting worse all the time … so my doctor that I have now is telling me it probably isn’t arthritis … she says it’s rare that arthritis will hit the feet. Really??? Anyway … I’m off to see a Dr. tomorrow who specializes in the treatment of feet. Hopefully we’ll get all this fixed up and next week I’ll be back to my full force healthy life mission. Woo Hoo!!!!!

I hope you start feeling better soon magglett. I would HIGHLY recommend taking a probiotic supplement. Antibiotics kill of the 'good bacteria' that you need to digest food and probiotics help replace them.

Sorry I've been MIA...I've been logging my food and exercise...just haven't had time this week to post AT ALL! I'm so sick of being so crazy busy! But...come June...things should slow down...hehehe how long til then?!

I'm starting to get SUPER sick of this cold weather...it's brutal out there this morning. And to make matters worse...when I woke up this morning our house was 62 degrees!! EEEEKKKKKKK...waking up to work out at 4:30 and instantly freezing your muscles as soon as you get out of bed is a BAD way to start the day. Hopefully things will improve.

It sounds like most people are doing well...can't wait to see what happens with this weeks weigh in. I was TERRIBLE this last weekend and sick Sunday then Monday took a 3rd day off of working out and went out to eat for dinner with my beau (we never get the time to have dinner together so I went with it). Haven't been on the scale since last friday and I'm TERRIFIED of what I might see! BUT...this was a recovery week and I know next week will be INSANE again with Insanity...so here's to hoping I maintained :)

    Good Luck everybody :)

Nope ... why do you ask?

I use to be the manager of a rehabilitation department and I learned from the physical therapists that sometimes diabetes can yield something called diabetic retinopathy which can cause a lot of pain in the bottoms of the feet and can sometimes be mistaken for arthritis or other disorders. Just was curious! I hope you feel better soon!!

This morning was kindof a funny weigh in. I only expected to maintain b/c of how bad my weekend was and I took 3 days completely off and then this week was Insanity recovery week...BUT I lost!!

So I got on the scale this morning and saw 130.2. I was like wow...good...I lost .6 pounds...I'll take that...I didn't expect any loss.. But while I was in the shower I was like wait a minute...wasn't I 131.8 last week? Wouldn't that be 1.6 pounds lost? So I weighed myself 2 more times throughout the morning to make sure I was right! LOL

I've never lost more than 1 pound at a time...SO EXCITING!!!!

Can't wait to say goodbye to the 130s next week...I don't think I've been under 130 since sometime in college...in my first few years of college probably!

YEAH! What a way to start the weekend :)
Can't wait to see the spreadsheet and see the big losses again this week...I LOVE THIS GROUP...so motivated...and dedicated! Keep it up :)

Okay all ... the specialist was incredible ... I think I love him ... I do have Plantar fasciitis ... have had it for a long time, have been able to control it for years, but it's other stuff now too. I will be getting orthotics and other treatments. He showed me some new exercises and gave me my first treatment and it's already made such a difference. It will be a lot easier to exercise soon

So I need the groups feedback on this. There are people that joined the challenge that never updated me last week so I deleted them from the spreadsheet. There are always a group of people that I have to track down in order to get their numbers. . I feel like a beyotch but I know everyone wants to see the team's results so I want to get it out ASAP! Should I continue to delete if I'm not getting updates? I feel like THOSE are the people that need the most support and encouragement though. Some haven't logged in for a while though. What to do... What to do...? I've never organized or ran a "challenge" before so I don't know if there are unwritten rules. Feedback, please?! I don't want to hurt anyones feelings. I know people are busy, too.

I would say if they haven't reported for a few weeks then it's okay to remove them. Sometimes people miss because their life gets busy but after a few weeks they're usually not interested in the group any more. Just my opinion. What does everyone else think?

I think give them two weeks. If they don't reply your messages or send updates for two weeks in a row, delete them. It'll make your life easier. Life does get in the way and they might be busy with other things. Maybe they'll join a different challenge and will stick to it later down the track.

:S sorry i'm late for the weigh in. I gained 0.7 pounds this week. It's not a lot but it scares me, especially because i know it's not because of sodium, TOM or anything like that it's simply because i ate too much of the wrong foods.
After hopping off the scale though, i had the best intentions and decided to have a 'perfect' weekend and get under my calories each day. Then i don't know what happened, but like a robot i headed to the kitchen and had cake, bread rolls and cheese among other things. I'm now over my calories, and i haven't had dinner.
I'm not really too sure why i did that. I have been stressed out with work/ moving into a new house/ ordering furniture/ uni stuff. Well LIFE.
I'm just going to try to get through the rest of the day, and stop focusing on the long term scary stuff. I'm going to go work out now, and try to still manage to get under calories today despite my morning junk food semi-binge :S

We lost 30 pounds as a group this week and we are at 296 overall!!! That is so awesome! There were quite a few people that didn't submit weights this week so I flagged them on my spreadsheet, if they do not submit a weight next week I'm afraid I will have to omit them for the list for the remainder of the challenge. I think we should send them encouraging messages though, just to make sure they don't need any help or anything! I'll let everyone know next week.

The top "losers" aka WINNERS for this week were:

    1. ellis_rn (3.2)
    2. ckholmes and hayden7707 and racheyanne1 (3.0)
    3. sharina1985 (2.9)

    Excellent job ladies!!
