    I want for me and my Husband to go to a motel and out to dinner!!! Away from a million teenagers our 3 plus all their friends are always here and i think this would be a perfect time to get away!!!

    I planned VD this year...we're going to go to a sex toy shop, out for supper, and to play pool...The child is spending the night at his grandma's. Our first VD together we broke up, so we've spent the last 3 years trying to make up for it. Right after our first VD, we had a "make up valentine's day" and he took me to Jasper for the day. Turned out to be the most wonderful day! The drive was romantic, the waterfalls were still frozen but absolutely majestic, the mountains were snow covered and beautiful. It was just amazing. What do I want for VD? A little bit of romance. Some lovey dovey romance. I want him to write beautiful words in a card, I want him to hold my hand and tell me he's glad we're together. I want to feel special, not because I look after his kid, but for the woman that I am.

    nothing! I hate that day because to me its just an over rated over advertised way for retail to make money---My husband and I show our love for each other ever day---why do we need to set one day aside and make a big deal out of it?

    Same here. We've been together for 15 years and have NEVER specifically bought something for the other person that day. We do that all year round, so a day on the calendar telling us that we have to be good to each other is just redundant because we're always good to each other.

    I'm pretty simple..I want my children to disappear to alternative dimension where they can be in suspended animation. alive, well and inert. And then I want my husband and I poofed to a beach naked. Fun will ensue. Drinks would be nice but not necessary. For at least 48 hours.

    I want to go to Wyoming for the weekend to visit my future inlaws and make homemade sausage all weekend...oh, right. That's not what I want but that's what I'm getting. :laugh:

    Valentine's Day is pretty dumb. My SO usually gets me candy, teddy bears, and flowers and all that disposable crap, but I don't really want it. I always appreciate a nice card and a good kiss. He can save the rest for my birthday.
