Welcome everyone to the 3500+ calories burned challenge. This is a weekly challenge to meet 3500+ calories burned, it is open to everyone. You set your own calorie goal for the week. Each day post the calories you burned, current total and how many you have to go. That's it, not too hard other then push push pushing yourself to hit your goal. Everyone has been doing a great job with the challenge!

Weekly Goal 5000, using a HRM (upping it from 4k & sticking w/the same routine, pretty much)

I didn't participate last week officially, though I did burn 4500 calories. This week's goal is 4500 again. Hope I can make it! I already did 40 min of swimming this morning, but will do my Monday update this afternoon after my cycle.0

I am going to decrease my goal this week to 4000 because I will be doing alot of traveling this week. I will have a real struggle to maintain my workout routine.

I can't believe it's going to be March! Well this challenge kept be motivated for 6 weeks. Time for a 7th week! I try to up my calorie burn after 2 weeks. Increase 500 calories!

I consistantly burn about 2500 calories a week but I think I can find another 1000 calories in exercise. I track my calories with a Polar FT60 (It tells me the calories as soon as I'm done with the workout)

I took my first adult swim lesson on the weekend and went out to practice some techniques. It was exhausting, but unfortunately my HRM wasn't accurately reading for most of the 40 minutes. Had to estimate based on the readings that did come through.0 -
