Looks cool, I read a few reviews on it and understand it. I won't buy it, cuz looking through the routines, I do similar stuff already, and there are certain workouts I can't do (because I am in the middle of my baseball season and I pitch, my weight training is a different type), but if you have the money and can commit to it, great!

Good luck to everyone trying it. I wish you guys the best.

WOW, it was a BEAST. I enjoyed it though, I was somewhere in the 8-25 rep range for everything except the one arm pushups (I'm still looking for my rear end they kicked me so hard  )

Not looking forward to plyo, but I'm going to BRING IT all the same. Thanks for checking in

Let me know if you have questions, I've done 4 rounds of P90X and one of the X+. LOVE Tony Horton!!

    Jess

WOW 4 rounds, you know if I could build a house right now it would include a workout area almost identical to that on P90X.

hey man where do you play baseball? I played in a mens adult league in greensboro for one year. My team won the championship and then I moved away  I did possibly have the record for the longest homerun in the league though before I left

I play in the Massachusetts Senior Baseball League. We are the Boston Braves
Here is our site. www.bostonbaseball.com We are in the american league, central division.

Here is our Personal website if you're interested. bostonbraves.400hitter.com

I am doing ok. I'm primarily a pitcher, but I'm fast so I also play outfield, I hate where they have me hitting (4th), cuz I am a line drive hitter, not really a power guy. And this puts me in a spot where I see basically 3 curveballs and 1 fastball per appearance, but oh well. Doing ok, batting about .365 so I can't complain. Oh, the name is Steve Hare if you're interested. Unfortunately most of our fields have no fence, so hitting home runs in our league is kid of a red herring. Plus, the freakin cities around here don't take care of the fields, and the grass is always so high that hitting the ball deep means it stops after 2 bounces.

CST is awesome! I'm always sore for days after that one... plange pushups, and those slow and fast ones get me every time!

    Bring it!

Be thankful you have a league in your area. Man I would love to play baseball again, so unfortunately it's industrial league softball instead :grumble:

Keep hitting linedrives man I too was a linedrive hitter, but because of my size I saw all kinds of off speed pitches. I was a good off speed hitter, but I was definitely a dead fastball hitter any speed it didn't matter.

I know. The worst is that I do my workouts at the gym with a portable dvd with a buddy. I just burst out laughing when it happened and everyone stopped what they were doing to see what had happened. Needless to say, I couldn't continue, I was laughing so hard!

That actually sounds like fun if it was in an area where you'd be undisturbed and you could get friends involved.

When it is a strength workout, we need to do it in the general gym area. But for other workouts, like kenpo, Yoga, Plyo, depending on the day, we use the aerobic studio if it is free. Sometimes, though, we have no choice but to do it in plain view. But people are very curious and we sometimes do have to stop and explain. Too bad I am in Canada, can't be a coach, so can't promote this and make some$

Wait a minute can you be a coach in the US? Hmmmmmm  It would be sweet to teach a course like this at a gym after much practice and peak shape of course. What good would I be if I'm nauseas with the rest of the class

Dude ~ Yep, you sure can be. Shoot me an email if you have some questions!

Carol ~ I love that you do your workouts at the gym! I mainly use the Y for the cardio and pool, and do my strength training at home. It's just easier w/ 3 kiddos to keep track of!

Jess: I get up and go early. My boys need to be able to get going on their own. Of course they are, ahem, adults!!???? Plus, I don't get caught up in the Mom, pleaaaaaseee, game!

Eating plan....I don't need no stinking eating plan
Seriously I have deviated from the program in this area, I've been cutting back carbs and eating more whole grains and raw fruits/veggies. I'm in phase II and am trying to do better.

Let me know how power 90 does for you.

    Take care

Though nutri system does work, I believe it makes peeps lazy. It is easy to just eat what they provide for you, but then once you attain your results, you need to go it on your own. And this is where people mess up. Better off following P90x nutrition plan, gives you a good indication of what you should be eating, how much and when. this is just my opinion. though

Steph: I have looked at the fat smash diet, heard good things, but it is quite limiting for me. Good luck, would love to hear about your results

Still haven't found it for that cheap, I'm nervous about getting copies off of craigslist and the quality there. Maybe I should just suck it up and save up for a while and buy it...sigh.

I wanted to try this and couldn't bring myself to spend the money without seeing some of the workouts. I found some on Ebay selling individual discs. I picked up 2 discs to try and will buy the set if I like the workouts. I picked up the the Chest, Tricep, and Shoulder disc (#5 I believe) also the Legs and Back (disc #9 I believe). Just waiting for them to arrive. I'll let you guys know what I think
