if anyone wants to do a challenge this weekend, it is: TO CHOOSE 5 FITNESS-RELATED ACTIVITIES YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO DO IN THE NEAR FUTURE. i will post the challenge on thursdays after the weigh-in. it will be a random idea and you can chose to participate or not. if you do, have fun growing and expanding (your health, not your waistline)! :)

did anyone hit their local farmer's market or donate money to a good cause last week?

Thanks everyone for the encouragement! I know I just have to make good decision but enjoy myself as well. I didn't hit a farmers market but after finals week is over I'm going to try and go every week!

Be able to do a pull-up
    Run a 10k
    Claim my sixpack abs! (haha)
Swim at least once a week this summer
Join a gym and go at least 3 times a week

I know that tomorrow is technically the weigh-in, but I wanted to post because I jumped on the scale this morning and I hit my goal weight! YAY! I haven't been this weight since high school. I still have another 2.5 weeks till my dress fitting so I am going to see how far I can get and then it is maintaining. This challenge was awesome and really kept me on track. Thanks everyone. I will continue to weigh-in and post until the summer solstice!

OK, for the challenge (better get it in before another one come along :-):

I live in a small, rural area and we don't have a Farmer's Market and none of the locals are selling yet, but I did get a Bountiful Basket with some great veggies and fruit in it this time!

    5 fitness goals:
Run a 5K with my son (he has just started running with me)
Increase all weight lifting machines in the circuit by 1 level
Start and FINISH P90 (the original...my sister gave me her old DVD's)
Add "extra activity" with the kids at least 2 days per week (hiking, swimming, playing ball, etc). This needs to be a family lifestyle!
Get a bike AND ride it at least 2 times per week!
