What are you afraid of?

I was just thinking about this. We all have irrational fears, and not so irrational fears....unless you're a ninja. What are yours?

I have a lot of anxiety and fear when it comes to my kids getting hurt. I am not an overprotective parent, I am just really overly anxious about it. On a lighter note...I am terrified of crickets and ladybugs. Also the dark, and the thought of someone breaking into my house.

For the record, I AM a ninja.... haha

But my fears are of my son being harmed also. I am always worried about him especially because he had such a rough start in life! And I am terrified of spiders. Not scared, terrified!!! UGH!

    Wild animals
    Ninjas
Anything sticky (like if there's a container of maple syrup on the table, I feel like it gets everything on the table sticky)
Ladders - being on one or watching someone on one
    Heights
That's a few off the top of my head

Are those your kids?! They're so adorable =).

Right now my greatest fear is never truly being happy with my body & content enough to actually
    enjoy my life.

I'm afraid of anything that wasn't born with an internal skeleton; i.e. insects, arachnids, invertebrates, certain kinds of people, etc.

Snaaaaaaaaakes! I can't stand a fricken snake! Or worms... I don't like things that move around on their bellies!

Basically, anything with no legs or too many legs about covers it!

    Also:

    Clowns
    Burglars
and my sweetheart getting hurt or killed at work (security officer) :(

YES! Someone that shares my fear of crickets. I can't even think about them without getting goosebumps....I was in my room on the computer once, and had a coat hanging on the doorknob, and saw a cricket go under it......didn't leave my room for 5 hours.

I could not go to take a shower without checking the drain like 20 times for years. Evil movie...

I ran out of Walmart once because there were 5 clowns at the checkout. Creeped me out. (no I did not steal, just left the merchandise where it was and promptly exited the store)

    Spiders
    Getting old
    Never finding true love
My dog Shelby Roo being harmed
    Snakes
Balloons Popping (seriously...I worked at Hallmark and I had to blow up balloons and they seriously scare me when they pop)
Birds (totally self inflicted from when I used to shake the cage to our bird when I was 7 and get freaked out when the door finally opened and it would chase me down the hallway).
