I have a question: Won't Weight Loss % versus Weight Lost in Lbs. be a better indicator? A 300 lb. person will have more weight to lose compared to someone who is only 165 lbs. Just sayin'.

I agree, but I think that both are important! What about having 2 winners? A %-lost winner and a lbs-lost winner? Really everyone that loses wins though

It probably would be, but my goal is to keep this as simple as possible for everyone.

Math nerd here :) If I have the time, I'll do it. If not, just divide your weight lost by your original weight. You'll get a decimal, move the point 2 spots to the right and that's your percent lost.
