    Now that I'm back on the wagon, I've dropped 1lb since Tuesday. Just one more to go to get back to where I was. I pushed really hard during my workout last night. I plan on working out again tonight, but I may tone it down just a tad so that I don't overwork myself and can push hard again tomorrow. Maybe just stick to a moderate jog, but lengthen my run intervals. Right now I'm running 1min/walking 1min for 30min total, running anywhere from 5.8-6.3mph. I think I may stick to the 5.8mph tonight, and alternate between 1min runs and 1.5min runs, with the 1min walks.

    Edit: Oh! I hit all my goals yesterday, except my water intake. I was a measly 8oz short, but I WILL get it today! :drinker:

    Ugh! I just remembered that I have to clean my ENTIRE house tonight, because my bf's whole family is coming over Saturday to watch the UFC fight! :noway: :laugh:

    If nothing else...think of the calories you will burn doing that too (ok not as many as your walk/run intervals but hey it is still burning). Good luck!

    Hey ladies, sorry for my continued absence! I hate being unable to browse on internet when quiet at work now, means I miss all the forums!! I had a great birthday and consumed WAAAAY too many calories over the 4 day weekend, but am back on track and have now lost the weight I put on after my birthday and lost a little more as well!! yippee!! :happy:

    Am now enjoying my 4 day weekend, and must must must do lots of exercise!! I plan to do at least 2 runs and try and increase my endurance when running.

    How is everyone else doing with their weekly goals?

    I'm kinda blah about everything this week. Not overeating but not doing great either. The scale is the same as it was on Monday, which isn't good because Fri/Sat are usually my lowest weigh in days of the week. My husband and I are in a stupid spat which doesn't help my mood. Blah.:grumble:

    Ugghhhhhh....so out of sorts this week...now that Lent is over...I am eating ice cream again like it is running out of style:explode: ...grrr....I am a little proud of myself though because normally I can eat a whole pint of ben and jerry's but I shared it with my bf and was full after only eating half ..yay....I feel though that I have been exercising normally, except yesterday (hate to go out in the rain)...just scared to get on the scale on Monday...pray I have a good weekend!! Everyone else...HAVE A GREAT FRIDAY!! :happy:

    Just realized I haven't posted here this week except to weigh in. Sorry about that, I thought I did! My week is going good. Last week was my first full week of slow-ish carb diet. I lost weight, so that's awesome. Doing great at it this week and haven't cheated at all. Looking forward to my scheduled cheat day this weekend though! Also, almost done with week 8 of TurboFire. I would say this is a huge NSV for me because I don't think I've stuck with a workout plan longer than 3 weeks or so ever!

    What sort of things do you cut out doing that? Has it affected your energy levels at all?
    You cut out dairy, fruit, and carbs from bread/pasta/rice. Hasn't affected my energy at all! Although it is difficult because I love all of those food groups (a lot!). It helps that there is a cheat day allowed once a week, so if I crave anything I write it down or make a mental list and make sure to have it on my cheat day. Last week it was cinnamon rolls, Twix, and milk that I craved most and you better believe I had all of those!

    But...I haven't seen a loss this week yet. I'm really hoping to see something for next weigh in. If not, I have a feeling it's because I was consistently under my calories last week. Trying to eat a little more this week so we'll see how that goes.

    Sorry for not posting, I was in Vegas last week. Weigh in for this week is 198.4 YAY for ONEderland!! That's a loss of 2.4lbs!! Also, I'm not on the chart either :cry:

    How are you doing so far this week?

    Ive had my ups and downs this week.But it hasnt been to bad.Im at 231.8 right now so if i could just get back to 231 thall be great but I at least want to get into the 230 range.Im excited tomorrow I get to go in and finish my feet tats with color!!!:DThe only thing i don't like about get the tats on my feet is that i havent been able to workout and its driving me nuts!! So my weightloss has been going way slower than i had hoped.:sad:

    That was my exact same thought. LOL - isn't funny how we have been reconditioned to think of things? My son was refusing to actual sleep during his nap time yesterday. I was out of my mind stressed out with how that affected me, however, on the 20th time up the stairs I actually paused and thought, "well, think of all the calories I am burning."

    I gave up ice cream for Lent too! I haven't had any yet...I did have TCBY once during Lent (I figured it's yogurt, not ice cream) and it was really good. If I'm going to "go out for ice cream", I think I'm going that route from now on. I also stopped buying ice cream at the grocery store "for the kids"...I realized that I ate more of it than they ever did. They are happy with popsicles, which I'm not that big on so I'm learning that if I'm trying to stay away from eating something, then stop buying it!

    Hi ladies! Have been off work all week and not going back until Tuesday. Two four day weekends in a row which is a nice bonus. I've got plenty of workouts in but seriously I've been eating too much chocolate. Went away for a couple of nights and ate more than I was planning. Feel like I have put on weight so I'll have to wait to see what the scales say!

    Anyone trying anything different to change things up a bit and if so are you noticing a difference?

    Woohoo well done!!! I'm off for a Zumba class this morning, and then I'm going to the hairdressers for a long needed haircut overhaul! Have had this hairstyle for years and years and need a change to go with my slimmer self, am thinking summery blonde hair and a shorter hairstyle of some sort. Not really sure yet eeeek!

    Well I have been plagued by lots of schoolwork and lots of long hours at work. Only worked out 3 times, when my goal is 5. I am avoiding homework right now, in fact.

    I was so pleased with how the size Medium fit! Ok, so I could lose a bit more of my ... er, junk in the trunk.. but still! I love it!

    UFC fight night and family ordered pizzas. I wasn't actually hungry but they looked gooooood. I didn't realize they were XL's, and I had though about only taking half a slice of each but was too lazy to cut them. Only 200cals over my maintenance though, so it's not a big deal. Just gonna drink extra water to help with all the sodium intake. Changed my rest day from tomorrow to today, since my bf said he'd workout with me if I waited til tomorrow. So will be up early to hit the treadmill and will put a few extra minutes in.

    Rach, from where I'm standing you are looking friggin fabulous. You have made such a difference, you should be really proud!! Treat yourself with something extra cute soon and don't forget to show us!

    I'm checking in at 200.6 this week. It isn't much of a loss but it's a helluva lot better than being stuck where I was for the past 4 weeks!

    Ugh.. a gain, again.... 198 on the dot. That's up 0.3 since last week. Not impressed.... Although I have been slacking in my workouts a bit and my water drinking. Back on track this week!

    On another note, I went for a great hike on Saturday. The view was absolutely amazing at the top.... So glad I did it! And I felt sooo good afterwards! :bigsmile:

    It's 156.7 for me this week.

    Goals:
    Workout 6 Days this week (At least 4 - P90x workouts)
    Try to eat back my exercise calories, which will take some planning so that I can get them in earlier in the day.
    Water, Water, Water!!!
