    You could use boca or morningstar crumbles and come in with less calories! Sound delish-will try this weekend-bet the grand kids would even love it!

    Hmm... I might try this, but with real cheddar instead of velveeta. Real cheese may not melt as smoothly, but I'm not a fan of "processed cheese products" ... lol.

    Tried making the Crock Pot Cheeseburger tonight. OMG!!! :bigsmile: It was delicious.

    I changed the recipe a little. ( I do that with all recipes I find.)

    We made this a few nights ago. It was easy to make and a big hit with the kids and a much healthier option than fast food burgers. Thank you!

    I made this last night with real cheese (extra sharp cheddar) instead of velveeta. The cheddar melted just fine and we were very pleased with the dish. I'll probably leave the milk out next time, because it was a bit watery. We served it over brown rice instead of on hamburger buns. Delicious!
