Sorry I havent been around or asking questions...been going through a really hard week, quit smoking, found out my BIL wife is pregnant (Long story but I blame her for my recent miscarriage) with twins, and I have lost all motivation to loss weight. Bear with me as I get my head back on straight.0

Friday's challenge was made for me! I've already did my happy dance this morning.
go on youtube and search for zumba routines or if you know the name of the song, type it in . There are so many hits to choose from, I don't know where to start!0 -

I've had a pretty rough week myself. My kitty that I've had for 16 years passed away on Monday. But I know that with all the help and support I have gotten from MFP I will get myself back on track in no time. I hope that things start to look up for you, and we are all here for you if you need us!0 -
Oh yeah, and I also joined up with Jamie Oliver and the Food Revolution to help make healthy changes in my local school district and my community by starting a facebook community page. I never learned how to eat healthy, and MFP has really helped me. I just want to help others too. If anyone wants the url to the page to help support us in our fight, please message me and I will be happy to give it to you!0

I found that twisting a straw in the middle to create a "filter" and then using the straw as a mock cigarette helped when I was quitting smoking. It's all a mind game. But, you'll be glad when you're smoke free!
And, don't lose your motivation! I need you, partner! Hang in there!0 -

I was but not so much now . I drank a lot of water and I weighed myself and it isn't pretty. Hoping the water weight goes away by tomorrow. I really regret drinking this much water.0
-
It's funny you sad that. I just got done explaining the same thing to my brother that has to weigh in tomorrow for wrestling. If you drink a pound of water and step on the scale you will weigh one pound more than you did before you drank the water. But a couple of hours later the water will be used as the body needs. ( for energy, storage, hydration, etc) Then the water that your body does not need will be mix in with your pee and deposited from the body. Now what many people don't understand is that the water that your body does not deposite does not gain you any weight. In fact it may help you lose weigh. So in the end you will not gain any weight.0

Well, that kind of sucks to drop out halfway though....do you have a friend who would like to join as your partner? Since it's a closed group I don't know how you'd get someone new to join now unless they were a friend of someone already participating. Good luck!0 -
Can I do it without a partner?0

Hang in there I quit smoking last July. Its hard ...... specially trying not to gain weight during this process. I workout and lost 30lb since then. You can do it to.0
