LOVE posts like this! It really makes you stop and examine things!

I'm grateful for the fact that I woke up this morning, my body was sore from the gym, I have amazing opportunities on the horizon and I have an abundance of people in my life whom I can share these moments with. All of these things can be taken away at any moment --- Enjoy them while you have them!

Family and my goofy azz dog Cinnamon

Losing only one leg instead of both of my legs when I was struck by a car when I was a paramedic.

Having the opportunity to have been a firefighter, a paramedic, and a police officer BEFORE I lost one of my legs.

Today is my son's 15th birthday. The doctors told us he probably would not survive until full term and if he did he would only live a couple days. We would never take him home. I am more than grateful they were wrong.

 doctors are not always correct (they said I would die in hospital 30 yrs ago!)

Appreciate every day that you and your loved ones wake up healthy. My wife, who is the love of my life, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last month. She is 39 and I am 36. We have been together since highschool. Be thankful everyday for the good things in your life. You never know when something can happen.

That my husband was able to help in an emergency situation at work and save a man's life today. Grateful that the man was safe at the warehouse and not driving when the medical emergency happened, and grateful my husband was there to help him.
