    :cry: i have not written in this thread for awhile, cause i've been sad, frusterated and confused about life.
    :cry: my mom was diagnosed w/ stage 4 lung cancer.

    but i am grateful because:
    :heart: daughter and i are running "race 4 the cure" this sunday!
    :heart: son said he may join me!
    :heart: son and i going to coast sunday eve.
    :heart: tonight, daughter and i made tutus to wear in our race4cure!
    :heart: bbq salmon and veges
    :heart: pink fingernails
    :heart: wine
    :heart: books/ kindle from library
    :heart: my husband feels i'm wonderful
    :heart: today is my grandma's 87th bday!
    :heart: 9-13 is my 47th (or 48th?) bday. who's counting? not me!

    happy3333- I am so sorry to hear your mother's diagnose. Cancer is horrible. I have lost 6 family members from cancer. My father is still fighting his battle too. :heart: hugs:heart:

    Im thankful to God that He allows me to get up every morning and do my workouts and gives me food that is good for me. I thank Him for a daughter that got me started on my weight loss journey. I thank Him for a job that pays the bills. And for His salvation, grace, mercy, kindness, forgiveness, and love through His Son.

    Today I am thankful for my dog's health.

    She has been feeling down lately due to some health issues. She is getting a little older. 9 years old December 3rd.

    I was worried. She hasn't been herself lately.

    When I got home from work today, she came up wagging her tail and as soon as I opened the gate to let her out. She took off running. She even grabbed some of her toys and tossed them around. She ran around the yard like her old self. I was very happy.

    As always, I am also thankful for my health, job, folks, brother, his wife, and all my friends.

    Today I am thankful for my boyfriend. I read some of the stuff on here and realise that I have the most supportive and wonderful man who even though I have to convince him, knows that I want to lose weight for me and is willing to help.

    He even texted me asking if I had enough calories for a bottle of wine with dinner :)
