Steph! Thank you so much for the invite! This is SOO the place I need to be.

    So here are my rules

No eating after 9:30 or three hours before bedtime whichever is later. I know that seems really late but I am regularly up past midnight and really it's the past 11:00 meals (I wouldn't call it snacks) that usually get me.
If I am for some reason starving and need to eat something a protein shake made with water (no fruit) will be a win still or chai tea with a splash of cream. Also if I have to close down the kitchen early (eaten too much earlier in the day) it won't matter how early anything after that will be a loss. I really want to complete my diary at a decent time knowing I won't have to pull it ip again later to add stuff. I HATE doing that!

So far today is a win. Kitchen is closed and diary is completed.

Ummm wow I was like a crack addict trying not to go downstairs last night. My stomach was rumbling until I had some tea but going down to make it was dangerous. I think Ill have hubby do it for me next time.

I can do better than last night, but I'm trying to encourage myself (after all, this is also about "wise" snacking ):

I wish I found this group sooner-I want to start now...need to start now! and next month I will for sure keep tally :) Going to aim for 9:00 but anything before midnight (I've been falling asleep around 2am-3am) is a plus.

Handful of chocolate cheerios at about 11:30. So frustrating. Going for a better night tonight.

Umm yeah still needs some work emotional eating chit the beat of me tonight. It was quite ugly. I tried shutting down my diary at 7:30 already over by 100 cals but I went back in the kitchen. I am now 760ish over. It was bad. Time to just put myself to bed.

Yay! For making it a good one. When I fall asleep early on te couch that is when I am the most dangerous because I want to eat when i get up, lol. So awesome job!

angp7711... You are SO welcome!! I'm really glad to see you made it here!! Great planning in that first post! I need to close up the kitchen soon (like, RIGHT after dinner!). That rumbling sound is usually my downfall. I often go for a banana at that point. (I worship the banana.) A handful of cheerios isn't so bad. :flowerforyou:

Although technically, I ate dinner and then a dessert - it was take out pizza at 10pm followed by an ice-cream an hour later so even though this classes as dinner and dessert and I ate nothing after, I'm not giving myself a point for how badly I ate AGAIN.

Due to such long days, I have had to readjust my time to 9 p.m. just because for some reason we tend no to eat until the sun goes down? Weird huh

    Finally someone who understands me!!!

Welcome! Start tonight. Pick a REASONABLE time. Some say two hours before bed. If you still get cravings, try fruit and veggies as a healthy alternative until you get into the swing of things. Most importantly, success or non-success, stick with it!

    unlike me :blushing:

Hope to come back stronger and more determined in July. Will use the rest of June for (secretly, hehe) training.

:flowerforyou: to all who are sticking with it this month. Keep up the good work, peeps! You are doing an awesome job!

Dew, you are anything but a quitter. This has been a tough month for me too. I have no other goal this month other than keep account so I stay in the habit when I finally get myself back in gear. Keep encouraging us this month Dew.

Ok! I have been totally CRAPPY at even "trying" to do this! So, I declare a NEW START for me. And, just so that I get things off on the right foot, I will make my NEW START effective as of 26Jun11 - as I have not late night snacked for 2 days! Yeah me for starting off on a POSITIVE!!!

My routine has been so disrupted that I've lost track of where I am. I used to be so good at this back when dewdrop first started the challenge (what was it - 2 years ago?), but now....
Anyway, I think my tally is:

    There's always July.:ohwell:
