What is your job and what do you like most about it?

I work in circulation for our local newspaper. I like chatting with my co-workers (most of the time). I also like visiting with the public.

I work supply as a secretary for the public school board. I like that it's a flexible schedule so I'm able to be home with my young children & I never miss important doctor & specialist appointments (they have Cystic Fibrosis). If they get sick, I can book myself as unavailable to be called, and it allows me to be by their side.

I am a elementary school lunch lady. The thing I love most about it is working with the age groups. They are so sweet at this age. I also love talking and sharing good times with my co-workers

RN on a Step-down floor. It's a transition between ICU and regular floor. I guess the thing I like best about nursing is being able to recognize and prevent impending problems.

Lab technologist for a skin hygiene company. It's flexible and not too much interaction with people. I'm pretty solitary and like doing my work with minimal distraction. The people on the production floor are like a second family and not too many stressful situations. It's also 10mins away.

I have two jobs, which I enjoy both. Hairstylist and CNA at the local hospital.
What I like about being a hairstylist is my regulars that come weekly..
I have been doing these ladies for 20 years now and I feel like they are my family..
My coworkers are the best. They are about 20 years older than me so they are kind of like
Mother figures to me as I lost my mom 14 years ago.

As for my other job as a CNA (certified nurses assistant), I get to spend alot of time with my
patients and get to know their families to. Yes I have to do the dirty work of cleaning them up
when they might have an accident, but there is so much more that I recieve from them.

    I work in retail.

I'm a very customer service orientated person and actually enjoy working with the public (usually.. lol). Plus, I'm on my feet and constantly moving. Helps to burn off a few extra calories... lol. ;)

Took early retirement, moved abroad to Cebu, Philippines but must admit I do miss work for having colleagues around to chat to. Now I am finding it it a bit boring out here but plan to do some travelling over to USA and maybe Canada when i shift some more weight.

I am a home care worker, giving personal care, making sure the elderly are clean safe and fed. Love it when they are so appreciative even when you just give them a cup of tea.

I'm a lab tec at a dental lab. My favorite parts of my company are that they sponser me and my husband, and any one else at work for 5k races and marathons. Also it's just over 2 miles away so I can bike or walk to work and I do (even though it's been over 90°F in the afternoon)

We own a home repair and remodeling company. It's actually a bunch of headaches but what I absolutely love about it is going to work with my man every day. A lot of couples can't spend 24/7 together but it works for us. The flexibility is also a big perk!
