My focus for the week has been to eat more earlier in the day, and get back to drinking enough water. I've been doing this most days and I think it is helping keep the hunger at bay and the binging to a minimum.
I'm still working through my game plan which is really focusing on bingeing and what to do about it for the first four weeks. I'm trying some different stuff and I think just being aware of what and why is helping. Doesn't mean I haven't eaten too many cookies (oops!) but being focussed on when and why is helping me make some plans on how to stop.0 -

there have been alot of upsetting things going on the past few weeks & I havent been dealing with them as well as I should
Im going to try harder, but we will have a weekend away for the 4th so my food will be over but I should be doing alot of walking so that wil help
I think the hardest has been that my biggest supporter (we've been doing this as a team) hasnt been around much & I'm feeling kind of lost & abandoned, but this is MY JOURNEY, so I need to get into the mindset that I cant rely on anyone but myself

After about 4 months on mfp I'm on average losing 6 lbs a month it's not to bad. Means it will take me about a year or so to reach where I want to be but I will get there! Three pounds in a week to reach my first mini goal, Gonna have to work my butt off!0 -

So far this week it gone well with rest, been able to sleep more b/c my little guy is sick...d/t that I haven't been able to get in as much exercise, but I've gotten so daily. Eating goals have been accomplished thus far and just need to cont. to stay focused and on track in that dept.

Focus! My focus for next week will be nutrition. I'm in a 90-day weight loss challenge at my gym that ends on July 9th; I think I have a fair chance of winning, but I need to spend these last few days on point with my nutrition. For the next 10 days, I'm eliminating all processed foods from my diet. I get to eat veggies, lean meats, fruits, nuts, brown rice, sweet potatoes, sprouted grains, whole milks and yogurts, water, coffee, and tea. It's gonna be a long 10 days.0 -

Challenge: FOCUS
I want to focus on my sodium intake this week - and hopefully turn it into a good habit. It's important for my BP health and weight loss. Most days are okay, but some days I go WAY over. Time to start paying more attention to that.
Reflection: Game plan?
So I have sucessfully increased my exercise to where I wanted to be. I've even been able to get in a workout over the weekend. I did make a new recipie that first week, but not last week. I'm going to search the message boards today for a great new recipie to try this week. I have been getting my 64 oz of water a day, but I'd really like to increase that by 8 more ounces from here on out. Not successful getting all my 1,200 calories a day. Just not hungry enough and don't want to force food in. I have done better than before I started the challenge, though, so that is a mini success.0 -
As for my game plan, I've done pretty good but I'm slacking on the new recipe thing and the vitamins. I HATE vitamins (ok, I don't mind the gummy ones at all) and the thought of swallowing one of those giant horse pills makes me ill. But, I've got to finish off the bottle before I buy some adult gummy ones. :laugh:0 -

I did great the first two weeks :drinker: but, I have not been as committed to my exercise and eating healthy this week. :grumble: :noway: I had a great strength training workout yesterday at the gym. I love the feeling afterwards! I will be going away for the 4th of July weekend. We are spending two nights at the Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach. I am so excited!! I plan on getting lots of exercise this weekend. Walks on the beach, swimming, gym, etc. Everyone is doing absolutely wonderful!! I am so proud of everyone!!! :drinker: Vic thank you for taking the time to put together this amazing challenge and to keep us all motivated and on track. You are the BEST!!!!! :flowerforyou:

amodom + mosneakers... I hear you with the late night snacks! I often am so hungry before bed, but I find that if I do nothing else in my day, but not eat before bed, it still helps a LOT on the scale! newmeat30 + Picky_nikki... My mom loves the horse pills, so that's mostly what I take. :laugh: Flintstone's were alway my number one chewable! Do they make them for adults? Haha. I can remember taking 4 gummy ones at a time because they were made for kids.All the exercise and eating right (more or less) is paying off!!!!!!!!! Falisha13... Congrats on your consistent weight loss! I'm lucky if I lose 5 lbs a week, so it's not good for my ego when I set my goals higher than that.
yportia... I hope you find a Zumba class, I absolutely LOVE mine! They are so fun! I love working out in a group setting with other people like that, and the music is so catchy and energizing!

Week 3 Challenge: FOCUS
I wanted very much to start focusing on eating right, but since trying to do that, I've come close to not working out at all. I want to focus on working out again. I'll be starting Ripped in 30, and I'm hoping that will get me back into the swing. Some of my MFP friends are joining me, and I think that will be great motivation too.
Week 3 Reflection: Game Plan?
Well, I don't think I came close to matching or passing my goals from May. I'm gonna tally it all up tomorrow and see what went on this month. And I haven't been working out like I planned to. I planned on being done the Shred by tomorrow, but I have 9 days to go. I do plan on finishing Ripped by August 10th (or sooner), so that's still a go. I've totally been ignoring the push ups I challenged myself to, but if I can do 6+, then I'm at a good place. I'll try and remember to do some later.

Week 3 Results- no change this week, though i have a feeling its because its my TOM. if i dont see a weight loss next week, i'm going to try cycling my calories as i dont want to hit a plateau so early in! Still feel comfortably on schedule to achieve 144, but a little disheartened to see no change and i'm off to the hard rock cafe on Sunday night for a celebratory meal! Though maybe having a treat day will kick start my metabolism, fingers crossed.
