    Difference: +1.75" (I can thank my TOM bloating AND water gain for this week)

    This is the challenge that pinkgirlzoe has picked for the week. Remember that all of the fitness challenges are optional but a good way to get an extra burn. If you do them please report back to us to let everyone know how it is going. Good luck.

    "Ok challenge for the week and this is one that everyone can do is:

    I want you to imagine that your feet (one at a time) are a giant pen. I want you, while sitting or standing to write out the alphabet in the air. Nice big letters, in both upper and lower case with your leg. When you have done one leg move onto the second.

    Now do the same thing with your arms (one at a time)

    I want you to do this on both your arms and legs 4 times each day between now and monday. Do not have to do all 4 reps in one go and can space them out throughout the day. "

    I often wonder what exercises I can do whilst sat at my desk all day. Will probably get a few funny looks though :happy:

    bmfrazie........sorry I didn't measure on monday. Had it in my head that we measure this coming monday. Will catch up then. Hoping for great results. I'm also in an Elimination Challenge and have been burning calories like crazy so can't wait to measure. Thanks for the spreadsheet....Just wanted you to know I'm still in it.........

    4 inches lost! .... wish one of those was off my hips and not chest though, womp womp

    Sorry I misunderstood as well and have been flat out this week with kids on School Holidays so not much time for anything! Here are my updated stats:


    Goal: 5 inches

    Week 1 Measurements:
    Thighs:48 inches (Doubled)
    Arm: 13 right 13 left = 26 inches
    Waist: 32 inches
    Hips:42 inches
    Chest: 38 inches

    Week 2 Measurements:
    Thighs: 46 inches (Doubled)
    Arm: 26 (Doubled)
    Waist: 32 inches
    Hips: 41.5 inches
    Chest: 37 inches

    So 2 inches off my thighs, whoohoo - those killer squats and lunges my personal trainer make me do are obviously helping!!
    1 inch off my chest (of course :tongue: )
    .5 inch off my hips

    Total of 3.5 lost :smile:

    Ok, so I was totaly confused too and didn't measure until this morning...

    Goal: 5 inches

    Week 1
    Thighs - 55 in (27.5 for R & L)
    Arms - 29 in (14.5 R & L)
    Waist - 42.5
    Hips - 52.5
    Chest - 39.5 Under bust / 44 across bust

    Week 2
    Thighs - 55 in (27.5 R & L)
    Arms - 29 in (14.5 R & L)
    Waist - 41
    Hips - 52
    Chest - 38.5 in under bust / 42.5 in across bust

    Total inches lost - 4.5! WOOT WOOT!!!

    I'm thinking I'm gonna have to up my goal - how about 10 inches instead?

    I am really confused. Can someone help me figure this out? I measured at the beginning and then last week for what I thought was week one. Are we already on week 3?!

    The first measurements happen to be done the last week of June. That week should count as the start week or week 1. Last week was the first week of July but says week 2 because it was your second measurements. Monday will be the 2nd week of July but your third week of measurements. It just depends on how you want to look at it.

    total:200 1/4
    July 11th measurement

    thighs: 51 inches (number doubled)
    Arm: 24 (more muscular)
    waist: 38
    hips:44
    chest:41
    total:198

    so I have lost 2 1/4 inches i think. Arms have increased but think that is due to muscle build up from exercises.

    Down 3.75in (freaks me out that I'm measuring wrong).
    Up my goal to 8 inchs please.

    Down 1 additional inch to bring my total lost to 4.75in.
