I watched the 1st one and found it fascinating but I think I might have missed something since I watched all 5 installments but only got 8 tips.
It just goes to show you protein does do a body good....and that yes we way underestimate our journals by 47% that was a shocker to me...hope I am not doing that here as I try to log in after each adn every meal time rather than prerecord and then change my day's menu around at the last minute and then forget to change the diary entry.
Soup or your meal blended up stays in your gut more than the solid meal...here I would have thought if your drink it is goes out faster than a meal your body really has to break down and process into smaller bits!
What were the last few tips #9 and # 100 -
in watching the second one I think I do believe that my body does have a set point of 170s and will not go lower. Maybe that's why no matter what I do I cannot get lower!0

Here are two more. They both are really good and focus on new research. (Summaries from Wikipedia and both BBC Horizon documentaries which I recommend anyone to check out the variety of topics they cover.)
The Truth About Fat (original air date March 20, 2012)
Surgeon Gabriel Weston explores why so many people are piling on the pounds - and learns about new ways to fight the flab. She discovers the hidden hormones that control appetite and sees the latest surgery that fundamentally changes what a patient wants to eat - by altering how their brains work.

The Truth About Exercise (original air date Feb 28, 2012)
Michael Mosley investigates recent scientific research that could change the way people exercise, including a study that suggests many could benefit from just three minutes of high-intensity activity a week. He also discovers the health benefits of seemingly innocuous actions, such as walking and fidgeting, and learns why some people do not respond to exercise at all.

Wow - I just watched the first one - Some things I knew such as protein keeping you full longer, but milk helping get rid of more fat & soup keeping you full longer were some of the surprizes for me. I'll watch the other one later - Thanks for the links.0 -

Here is another: The Big Fat Truth About Low Fat Foods
Youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sgwh47Xxg7U
Official Page:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00yrvhg
Description:
"DURATION: 1 HOUR
For thousands across the UK, the new year usually means a new diet. But it's the supermarket rather than the health club that many are turning to. The low fat food industry is worth two billion pounds and there are more reduced calorie ready meals sold in January than at any other time of the year. But is a life on low fat foods any life at all?
For four weeks, model and former Blue Peter presenter Zoe Salmon ditches the fine dining she's used to and lives on nothing but pre-packaged, highly-processed foods that are labelled either low or lower in fat. She finds out what's in these foods and how they affect her moods, nutritional levels and, crucially, her weight. She also meets the low calorie converts who say that eating this way isn't just a diet, but a way of life. "0 -
