Tried this this morning. I used a large egg and half tsp of splenda brown sugar. It was good. I think it came out a little dry though And I had it in the microwave for 90 seconds, so I added some extra margarine and splenda brown sugar and then it was super tasty. I will try messing around with the ingredients a bit because it ended up being more than I usually have for breakfast by a lot. I know I can get it down with egg beaters but I was out of that and also use applesauce. Guess I have 2 things to add to my grocery list!0

i saved this recipe a couple weeks ago, and made it for the first time Tuesday morning at work. I LOVE IT!!! i pre-measure the dry ingredients at night, then add the egg and applesauce when i get to work and in less than 2 minutes, i have a GREAT base for my overeasy egg. YUM!! Appreciate your sharing this.................0

Hey all, I am also Celiac so I make it a little different. I use
1/4 cup bobs brown rice milled flour
1 tsp cinnamon
3 tsp sugar (the brown rice flour is more bitter than wheat so I adjusted to that, but you may not need quite as much depending on your tastes)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 egg
little over 1 tsp any kind of oil
cook for 90 seconds and eat while still hot. Tastes absolutely wonderful. The storebought GF bread doesn't even come close.0 -

Tried this for breakfast...sooooo good!
I added 1tbsp chocolate chips and half a mashed banana and used 2tbsp egg whites instead of the egg beaters. I also swapped 1/8tsp nutmeg for the cinnamon. Tasted like banana bread!0 -
Sounds like a perfect template recipe for an easy meal. Thanks for the idea!0

I even have the ingredients on hand! I am so going to try this for breakfast tomorrow. I am diabetic, and don't necessarily eat gluten free, but I know the health benefits of flax.0

This is also amazingly good if you omit the sweetener and instead ad a pinch of salt a twist of black pepper a tspn of grated parmesan cheese. it is the really good if you spread a little marmite and thinly sliced tomato to eat (and a dollop of light cream cheese if you want it to be a bit more luxurious!!) Yummmmmmmmmmmm!!0
