Here's some info. about me.
I'm a SAHM to my sons, who are 7 and 2. I woke up one morning and just decided "this is it." I started by just wanting to lose some weight, but now it's not only the weight, but I want to feel good (and of course look good), but I want to be healthy. My sons need a good role model and for once in my life, I feel like I actually am one! I still don't eat super healthy, but it's a HUGE improvement compared to the crap I used to eat.0 -
I know what you mean about not eating the healthiest , i used to eat out all the time but now just try to go once a week as a family!!0

Good Morning Pink Team! Remember you can always post on the main thread too, I wanted to make it a little easier for all the team captains to keep track of you and get the teams closer so we can be solid teams here. Good Luck Team Pink!0

Goal Weight : 135
Ok something about me...
I'm 23, and a SAHM mom to a 2 year old boy, Lucas. Ever since I quit preprofessional ballet at 16, I've had bad weight problems (I even was somewhat overweight while dancing, but in much better shape!) I was really heavy towards the end of highschool, then thinned out a bit. When I got pregnant with my son was when things got really bad, I was 200 when I delivered him, and when he was 9 months old and I decided to make a change I was still 195! Last year from Jan-March I went from 195-155, then this year I made it down to 142... but I let bad habits creep back in, and surprise surprise I was 158 when I stepped on the scale last week!! I want to make this change. I've never actually been "thin" and I am dying to know how that feels!! My birthday is right towards the end of this challenge and I would LOVE to be 145ish by then!
Squats are done for today, gotta get a workout in!0 -
SW 169
CW 156
GW 125
I will hit my goal by October 12th (my son's 3rd birthday). No excuses.
- did a 3 mile walk pushing a stoller today.
- did my daily squats
I am a 26 yr old SAHM of two amazing boys (who will probably never fully know the magnitude of how much they have changed my life for the better), Vincent who is 2 &1/2, and Benjamin who is 15 months old.
I was always an emotional eater. Happy, sad, pissy, no matter what the emotion... I would eat. My heaviest weight on record was 201 on the day my 1st son was born. However, I was heavier in high school than I was at my son's birth, but I was too scared to step on a scale and put an actual number to my shame. My reason for being an emotional eater, I can tie back to my childhood. My parents were constantly dealing with my drug addicted older bother (by 7 years), and I was always put on the "back burner", no matter what my question was. Too busy focusing on his "issues" and all of the heartache and chaos that came with it, but without them ever actually coming out an admitting that he might have a problem. I am 26 now, this started when I was 10, and my parents just recently came forward an acknowledged the problem (he's still using). Don't worry... I turned out pretty well considering. Nontheless, it was hard to deal, or should I say not deal with this at home, and then go to school and be picked on and beat up everyday for being the fat, scrubby kid. I internalized everything, and food was my only comfort. Looking back on it, I had no confidence and so easily allowed others to influence me, and was always seeking other's approval without considering how I would feel no matter the consequences. That's all changed. Thank goodness I met my husband 8 years ago (after a bout of being a gym-a-holic and losing 75 lbs., I weighed 125 and had never looked so good.) He's changed my life for the better. He's helped me regain my confidence, see me for who I really am and the person that I want to be. Sorry for the rant, but I feel better actually having put it into words for the world to see. Yes, I've been through hell, but I'm back and life couldn't be better.0 -
Ok here's a before picture. Eeek. CAN'T WAIT to not look like that!

Good job ladies. I just got back from my walking/jogging. It's hot out there!!0
-
Ohh I wish we had hot weather It pretty much rains every second day, which makes it hard to get out. But I did walk home from the indoor playcenter today (about 7k uphill) with Lucas fast asleep on my back in the Ergo - my legs are feeling it. Plus did a 40 minute Biggest Loser workout, and will probably go for another walk with my mom in a bit. I am DETERMINED to make that scale move - A LOT! Besides that I did my squats today, and my kitchen is already closed (it's 7:20 right now)0

How's everyone doing today? I've been running errands all morning, trying to get last minute things for our trip before I start packing. I'm planning on doing some Wii exercising here in a bit for my cardio for today.
Just wanted to check in with you all. :happy:0 -
A lil stressed here , But trying to stay on track. I'm ready to go for my run it's my 45 minutes of peace!!!0

I'm having one of those days. I've been so good with my diet, working out tons and the scale is going UP! Ugh. But I guess just more motivation to eat even better and workout even harder! On the plus side, I bought a dress to wear to my cousin's wedding tomorrow - in a Medium! And it fits like a glove (hopefully will be big on me in the near future! haha) But that was a great feeling.0
