I don't know if anyone mentioned it yet, but remember the nikes that had the actual *pumps* in the tongue of the shoes?
I remember me and my friends all bending down and pumping our shoes up before we played ball or went to practices :)
Oh! And I remember leotard shirts that snapped in the crotch with a giant hideous vest over it and a pony tail on the side of your head...

Wore a bandanna around your leg.
Watched Music Videos on MTV when they actually played music videos.

Not to mention the leg warmers that coordinated with your sweater/sweatshirt of the day! Seeing how many people could pile into a honda civic to go to the store after school. Ahh the memories these things invoke! Such awesomely good times!

Disney and The Muppet Show on Sunday nights. You always had to wait to see the second half of the Disney movie the next week. When Leo DiCaprio started on Growing Pains. Seeing all the Star Wars movies and ET in the theater. The Princess Bride (favourite movie although Labyrinth is up there too).

OMG-Rat Tails-I work with a family where the grandfather and the child both have them- brings back bad memories every time I seen them.

When guys permed the back of their hair.

In Canada- all the show on TVO- Polk-A-Dot Door etc, Dr. Snuggles, Today's Special. . .

When it was ok to only have 3 tv channels because you played outside most of the time anyway.

New Kids on the Block (when they were new!) Still my favorite today! <3

I miss the Mickey Mouse Club from our youth. Today's is CGI and awful.

Oh how I miss being a kid in the 80's!

    OK, everybody, brace yourselves....

My 30 year old coworker tells me he feels sorry for people *my* age because we had such crappy music.

WTF? Really? 80's and 90's music was the BEST!!!

(I can give you all his phone # if you want to send him rude text messages....)
