When I started reading this article I was irritated, but as I got to the end I'm actually kind of impressed....kind of.

Yes I have eaten a whole pint of ice cream.. mainly when I was in college and it was finals week0
-
A pint?!?!....hell yes! And enjoyed every bite!!!0
-
Oh yea! OP- You really haven't??0

once (not my best day) I baked a cake - then I ate a piece, and another .. pretty soon I ate half of it. I didn't want my live in b/f at the time to know I ate half a cake so then I ate the entire thing & baked ANOTHER cake for dessert that night
It was another 18 years before I addressed that in therapy - and no, I don't do things like that anymore but I know what I'm capable of0 -

I have. Lots. Will probably do it again.....0

I think it is a dangerous path to keep encouraging enormous portion sizes, even if it is lower calorie. Anyone else remember the SnackWells fat free cookie fad of the 90s? What it comes down to is no one needs to eat a pint of ice cream, even if it is Arctic Zero, in one sitting. At least in the US, we need to learn what an actual portion looks like and I don't see that happening anytime soon.
By the way, Arctic Zero is gross and tastes like frozen protein shake to me. I only tried it once (the chocolate variety). However, I have seen people on this board raving about it, so to each their own.0 -
Hhhhaaaaaugh!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ICE CREAM did some one say ICE CREAM? Double dark chocolate, chocolate chip, death by chocolate, chunky monkey, cherry garcia... well... As long as it stays between you and me.... NO! Perhaps more like a half gallon! when they were still half gallons.0

Tried the cookies & cream flavor... it's terrible. Had to throw it out.0 -
Great article I was gonna add, a pint for me would be a warm up, back in the day.0

I want ice cream!
What I want more is to try all the flavours of Ben & Jerry's you get over in America
Peanut butter for Gods sake! Mmmm0 -
Yup, I have. :P Ben & Jerry's is amazing!0
-
I don't think I've ever eaten an entire pint of ice cream! I feel sick if I eat more than like, one large scoop.
The article kind of made me nauseous just reading it.0 -
Yes it's true, I've NEVER eaten a pint of icecream EVER IN MY LIFE. I don't like sweets. I don't eat candy bars or chocolate. Now if you offer me some french fries or chips and salsa and it's on0

That's just cruel - mentioning ice cream and double dark chocolate in the same post!0 -
What saddens me is that in my youth I could eat a pint of icecream and not gain a pound. Now I have to account for every calorie and a pint of icecream never seems to fit in my diet!0

I have eaten a gallon easy.....and killed half a pumpkin pie right along with it. Im ashamed now that I think about it.0

5 gallon bucket here.0 -
Ha, I thought this was going to be something we all had a good laugh over, wiped our eyes and say, "Who HASN'T downed an entire pint in a sitting" and then some of you hadn't and I got a little sad.
Yes I've downed an entire pint, I am a lady and TOM and I aren't friends, and so that's happened a few times. I'm a lady and I've been supportive of a best friend who just got dumped, and so it's happened a few times. Mostly, I have a mouth and a stomach, so it's happened a few times.
The thought of doing it now, makes me a little sick though. I'll pass.0 -
My roommate and I use to share pints of ice cream...and only ever got like 1/2 to 3/4 of the way through. And that's cause we had to throw whatever we didn't stuff down our throats away0

I used to buy those apple pies at the bakery and eat the whole thing by myself when my kids were asleep. I did that weekly. I'm not ashamed though, those pies were delish!0 -
These posts have completely cracked me up!!! And I needed a good laugh..so thanks
To be fair I guess I have to answer the question too tho... Nope, not in one sitting have I ever eaten a whole pint of ice cream....I've tried to tho0 -
Hell yes I've eaten a whole pint of ice cream before. More times than I can recall, to be honest. How the heck do you think I got to 277 lbs. :grumble:0
-
oh yes. Icecream is my weakness. I can stay away from it for a very long time...and then something clicks and I am eating medium sized DQ blizzards each night for a while. BAD.0
-
why? you use the word "whole" like that's unusual or something. :laugh:0
