God this is hard to keep up with
yesterday:

Calories: dne
Did soooo much walking yesterday as well
Today:
Water: dne 5 cups so far . . . so defo gonna be done for tht
ups and downs: about to attempt . . . will update in 15 minutes
calories: got 800 left for dinner! but is my day off and my will power is being tested not to open cupboard, may go for a walk.
sorry lori if i am one of them people . . . weighed myself today (why did i do this!? it is only half way through week!!! got in crap mood as only lost 1lb lol it was midday after food and water intake so don't know why i got all moody)
anyway . . . WE ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!

No Jack_mc it is NOT you!!! TY very much for the updates! Plus you were one of the first to respond at the very beginning of this forum. One of the girls said she is in the middle of moving this week. So I'm waiting. Another gave me her weight before we started and then nothing. Poof. Gone. It's frustrating because I'm highly competitive and let's face it winning is just down right FUN! Mostly I care about everyone's health. I also know that it helps to see an initial drop in weight to create a snowball effect that leads to success. If you see the numbers on the scale going down you are elated and motivated to go even further! It is my hope that this challenge will do exactly that for those who take it seriously.0

We have to do 40 !! That's bad enough - don't go giving Lori any ideas to give us another 20 !! lol
I struggle with them too as I get motion sickness from standing up/laying down in quick succession!!!

Love to hear that Jack cause they are supposed to be hard. We are shocking our fat cells and they are screaming "WHAT IS HE DOING?!!!" I know they are tough. I have to fight the fear of worrying if they will trigger one of my tachycardia episodes because rising from lying down is often when they strike. Oh well. I suck it up and press on. One thing I like to do when I feel wussy is say Lori, holocaust survivors went through a literal physical and emotional HELL so why are you here bawling over 40 up and downs? Really makes me think. I do the same thing with food now. Watch the beginning of Beyond Borders with Angelina Jolie in the Africa scenes and you will eat your next meal in silence thinking of how blessed you are to have food to eat.

Just went to gym to ask about memberships . . . only £40 for 6 weeks . . . joining monday!!!! when i buy my chicken
and very tru!!! going to enjoy a curry with my remaining calories only 870 in meal and got 970 left so will be under my limit today!!! x0 -

***IMPORTANT*** As a reminder tomorrow's challenge is 40 Ups and Downs as described by Gary below:
UPS and DOWNS

The very first part of this exercise is the up and downs. They may be modified by simply starting on all 4's and then standing up quickly and returning to this position to all 4's. This is a cardio exercise! Don't be freaked out but all he is doing just do the first part and modify if needed.
REMEMBER ITS THE VERY FIRST THING HE DOES ON THE FLOOR that's it! Unless you are a real rockstar then finish it out if you can. It's a crazy exercise. Be ready for great exercises you can do at home without anything!
Holy Crap! This guy is crazy! do you see how he springs up off the floor?! lol I will definitely be doing the modified version. I wish they slowed it in slow motion, sometimes he is so quick it was still hard to follow.0 -

Also I was asked something that I should have clarified in the beginning and sorry that I didn't. The exercises do not build day to day on top of each other.
For ex: Today all you have to do is your 40 up and downs on top of your normal everyday workout. And drink your 64 oz of water and stay under calories of course!0 -

I have completed the 40 up and downs (glad I didn't have to do them in public) and I did the 50 mountain climbers that Gary's Team Weapons of Mass Reduction challenged us with!!! I also stayed under my calorie goal and drank all my water plus some!0 -
Well I was really bad today, I had a really stressful day and went over my calories by 100 cals. I drank only 7 cups today but I did do my 40 ups and down and the 50 mountain climbers. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.0

So...just to clarify...are ups and downs actually called Squat Thrusts? I was talking with a friend and that's what she called it.
