~toofat2toofit~ No, I haven't tried Turbo Jam yet. I watched the learn & burn workout. Wow, that's a lot of moves to learn. This weekend I'm going to begin practicing the moves as part of my exercise. Starting in September, I want to change my workout routine and TJ will be part of it.0

My mid-week up date.... 295 minutes so far from Friday to today with my rest day being yesterday. I am averaging 49.6 minutes a day and this includes the 0 minutes from yesterday! I have gone over on water everyday! Now the sodium that has been a toughy... Saturday my SO took meout for sushi, Monday was my first day back after summer vaca and I went out for pizza after work, and today I had a workshop off site so we hit arbys.. So my sodium was over for all three of those days BUT my calories were under. Also the scale had been creeping slowing and this week jumped twice already - keeping fingers crossed that it continues...0 -
Sort of checking in but with a little bit of a rant...... this week is kicking my butt!!! I have been able to keep under calories and sodium, but for some reason I am having a hard time with the 45 minutes of exercise. I am a little frustrated with myself about this. I am proud of my ability to keep the calories down with all the activities this week, but I don't know just a little hard. I did start the Jillian Michaels 30 Day shred today and am pretty excited. Let me tell you though it kicked my butt on level one, I am frightened about level two.
I really appreciate all of your support and checking in makes my day, so thanks for listening/reading.0 -

I have done pretty good this week considering I pretty much ble last week.
Monday: Sodium- 2392mg, Water-64 oz (YAY FINALLY), Workout- 48 mins (18 mins jogging, 30 mins Zumba)
Tuesday: Sodium- 2465mg, Water- 64 oz, Workout- 60 mins (20 mins jogging, 45 mins Zumba)
Wedensday: Sodium- 2493, Water- 64 oz, Workout- 45 mins Zumba. ( helped a friend move so didn't have time to do more when I got back)
Totals So far: Water- 192/448 oz, Workout- 153/ 270 mins0 -
This weeks been real tough... The sodium challenge has been a real eye opener...and Im gonna try to keep the rest of my days this week under, but so far only tuesday has been within my sodium goal range. =/
Monday - 66 mins - 710 burned, 64+ oz water, sodium +1551 =(
Tuesday - 60 mins - 350 burned, 64+ oz water, sodium under by 832
wednesday - 41 mins - 407 burned, 64+ oz water, sodium over by 127 =(
Today I plan on doing a Zumba class for the first time at my gym. Im a little nervous...Im not the best dancer and have tried the videos and dont think I have the best dancing stamina...but the music is cool and everyone says how fun it is....I hope I do okay...
Tuesday I was under on my calories and then yesterday I ended up being more hungry than usual....so I ended up snacking more than I should...wasnt too happy with myself today...but today is a new day and I am trying to be positive. I lost a pound this week so far and I want to finish out with AT LEAST two pounds gone so I can make this months goal a reality....I hope I can make it!0 -
@SweetcheeksRN- I hope that you have a good time at Zumba. I have no rythmn either, but have lots of friends who love to do it.

I wish I wasn't always so worried about weigh in day!:ohwell: I'm really excited about weigh in, in the morning but at the same time it's so irritating that I'm always so nervous about the results. I'm hoping for at least 1.5lb loss so I guess I'll let you guys know in the morning if that is the outcome. Good luck on the weigh in tomorrow! Hope everyone does well.0

I completely spaced out this week and forgot to check the forum.... hope all of you are doing well.
Exercise hasn't been good this week - I didn't run at all due to some lingering knee soreness from Saturday's long run, but I did get in 4 hours of roller skating, some 30 Day Shred, and Jillian Michaels' Yoga Meltdown. All in all, not too bad. My weeks go Mon-Sun for running so I still have time to get in those miles on Saturday.
(I also just noticed my weekly totals didn't update after Monday... so my total amount of minutes exercised/calories burned is inaccurate!)
However, I did stay on track with food so I'm feeling pretty confident about tomorrow. Weigh-ins on Monday don't work as well with so much major cardio on weekends and a LOT of water retention/swelling. Fridays rule!

The scale is lucky I didn't throw it out the window this morning!!!!!!:grumble: A .4lb loss, what a let down. I woked my butt off this week and ate within my calories everyday and that's what I get. Well I hope everyone else did well with the weigh in! Here are my results for the challenge this week......
So Monday thru Friday 706 Minutes this week with a total calorie burn of 4733 calories.
As for Sodium 3 out of 4 days I stayed under better than everday over.

I have (technically less than) ONE pound left to kick this challenges *kitten* this month!! WOOT!! So now I"m pushing for 12lbs in August instead!

My current weight is 194.3 I am up for the week. Bummer. I hve met all the goals so far this week although today may not make it. I did start the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred three days ago though and suposedly there will be some water wieght gain while pushing so hard.

Happy friday people! I've been wiped out this week. I will post my numbers tomorrow when im not in a carb hangover, but this week I totally dropped 3lbs this week. Heck yea! I have run at least 2 miles this week and I started turbo fire on monday. Talk about tired...Lord only knows. Any who, have a great weekend. I'm looking forward to the next challenge!0

Down 1.4 lbs this week, even though it's been a sucky week. Had a blow-out with a coworker on Tuesday that made the rest of the week loads of fun to deal with, on top of stressing over this weekend's family obligations that have put me between my sisters and my cousins. Being in the middle of petty stuff really puts a damper on things. Can't wait for it all to just blow over already. I gotta get out of this phunk with the new week. Need to get back on that elliptical and work out this mood!!0

Turbo Jam is an awesome workout. It's right up there with Zumba for me. The moves aren't very difficult to learn & it's great fun learning them & when you have it you have it. Hope you enjoy.

So, this week I have really suprised myself! Not sure what my weight is just yet but my challenge results are:
Monday: 48 mins exercise (Jogging and Zumba) 8 cups of water and 2392mg sodium
Tuesday: 2465mg sodium, 8 cups of water and 60 mins of exercise (20 jogging and 40 Zumba)
Wedensday: 2493mg sodium, 8 cups of water, and 45 mins Zumba
Thurday: 2271mg sodium, 8 cups of water and 45mins Zumba, 7 mins stretching, 4 mins calisthenics
Friday: 2354mg sodium, 8 cups of water, 30 mins Zumba, and 15 mins Personal Training.
Totals: 329 oz of water and 254 mins of exercise.0 -

Mon: 10 glasses/50 minutes/1609 sodium
Tues: 10 glasses/0 minutes, too sad/1618 sodium
Wed: 8 glasses/30 minutes/2105 sodium
Thurs: 8 glasses/90 minutes/1816 sodium
Friday didn't, couldn't keep track due to circumstances beyond my control - but will get back on track tomorrow!

Can't wait to hear the next challenge. What day range is everyone using for counting the week's goals? I see some starting on Friday, ending on Friday...or starting Saturday, ending with Friday's totals. I'm trying to stick to the Friday weigh in, but I'm confused each time on what days I'm counting.0

I'm pretty sure the week starts on Saturday and ends on Friday IF you are doing a Friday weigh in. That would be 7 days...
Anyone know what the new challenge is unless I scrolled past it accidentally I haven't seen it up anywhere...???0
