We went to Jr High and High school together. We were both in band. I remember I didn't care much for him in Jr High. But he was one of my brother's best friends. By the end of my sophomore year we were kind of together; by the end of my Jr year, we were definitely an item, and we got married 2 months after I graduated (he was a year ahead in school).
Coming up on 16 year anniversary this month :)

Good old fashioned blind date! I worked with his uncle and he is the one who set us up. Happily married for 22 years.

I met mine in high school, senior year. We didn't talk too much but I had a crush on him. A year later, after we'd started talking a lot more, we started dating. Now our one year anniversary is the 25th of August :) We're engaged.

Through my neighbor. He was her boss @ one time & thought that we would get along good. She exchanged our numbers, we spoke for couple of weeks for hours on the phone. Finally met and wasn't interested at first, but he quickly grew on me and we have been together ever since....11+ years.

Internet. We were just friends because both of us had just started dating other people at the time. They both ended up being crazy and we spent a lot of time trying to convince each other that the person they were dating was nuts, not so we could be together, just because they were making us miserable. Both those relationships ended fairly quickly and we decided to date. We got married in April.

A Freind and I ( After not dating ANYONE for 2 years and 4 bottles of wine later one random night ) made me an online profile. The next norning we woke up on the floor with the lap top open with a big picture of me, and a title that stated, "CALLING ALL SEXY GORILLAS"

About me: I love wine & well endowed men.
About you: You love wine too, and steroids.
What I am looking for: Someone to drink wine with and pet heavily.

OMG. I was mortified. what if someone from work saw this? what if someone I KNEW saw this! Then, my worse nightmare, one outgoing message to a guy named Travis...

"You are hot. and look normal. Wanna Pet my pikachu?

Our first date was July 4th, 2010 and we are still together. I love him very much :) He, he thanks Wine!!

We met online. He was my "last ditch effort" . . .I had been dating online for a while with NO success and was going to delete my profile when he caught my eye (he's 7 years my junior  ). I am in Chicago, he was in Denver. We dated long distance for 1-1/2 years after which time he moved here and we got married. We are going on 5 years of wedded bliss and have a 4 year old daughter.

    Band camp (not kidding).

I was 18, he was 23. I played percussion and he was a tuba player. My freshman year, I'm standing on the sidelines at band camp (I played Marimba) and the formation the rest of the band was practicing had the tuba line come right up behind us. My soon - to - be boyfriend saw my red hair and told the guys next to him that he was laying claim. At that point, we'd never talked and he hadn't seen my face. A few weeks later on 8/26/98 we started dating. We got married on 8/26/10 which was our 12 year anniversary.

Ironically, my great-grandparents have a similar story where he was walking with a friend and say her up ahead with long red hair and he said to his friend "that's the girl I'm gonna marry." Kinda weird how history repeated itself (coincidently, hearing the story of how my great-grandparents met is also how I discovered where I get my red hair from since no one else in my family is a red-head).

Well we met at the gym in college... but I technically already knew him because he was a student in my mom's 3rd grade class and friends with my little brother when they were kids. When I met him in college I had no idea who he was until my brother came with me to the gym one morning. They shook hands and acted like they knew each other so I, of course, drug my brother aside and said, "Tell me everything you know about that hot guy..."

Online.. Yahoo personals lol. I was 18 and he was 23. The first time we met in person, I made him meet me where I worked (a wholesale club retailer lol) so if he was a freak, I would be in public and not have to worry about him kidnapping me.. We just celebrated 7 years of marriage in June and this December will be 9 years since we started dating.

She was the "Girl Friday" Admin to the owner of the company I worked at.

    Dating was forbidden.

    We did it anyway.

That was almost 26 years ago

What the H E Double Hockey Sticks is a Girl Friday Admin and how do I get one??

She ran the office and most of the company's business while the owner played 'boss'

Let me just say this. . . do NOT rule out people who are long distance from you. There are many benefits, some of them being: they won't smother you--if you don't want to talk to them, don't answer the phone; they turn out to be crazy/possessed/married--block them; and you know the old saying "absence makes the heart grow fonder" . . .well that's not the only part of you that "grows fonder" . . .reunions are H-O-T!  :blushing:

I'm single now, but I've met all of my dates online. I'm young, and the friends I have hangout with immature guys that I'm not interested in.

I met my husband through his cousin, she and I had been friends for several years so she set us up. Unfotunately we had a big blow out and neither one of us speak to her anymore.
