    in highschool :) was in the same class for 1.5 years before we got the nerve to start dating, one week and we were together, three months and I moved in, still together, it has been 3.5 years and we are very much in love :D

    My bf and i both have brothers that are 8 years older than us. They've been friends since school so we kindof knew eachother.

    We were friends on facebook.

    One day a couple months after i broke up with my ex, i posted a picture. He commented, i replied, there was some banter and he asked me out.

    I have never been happier in my entire life :smooched:

    I met my fiancee at my work.

    Here's the story. He is from San Francisco bay area and I am from south florida. He was spending a week in Florida to look at medical schools cause he was thinking about changing career paths and one day while I was working at a card store (In my home town which is four hours away from my college), he came in and for the past 2 years we have been dating. Although it is long distanced, we will be moving in together once I graduate with my degrees.

    I think its fate. :)

    Edit: I was GM of a guild and he was our main tank, LOLOL!
    We've known eachother for about 5 years been together/married close to 4 years!

    Love it! Geeks unite! We were both GMs of raiding guilds (at different times).

    Ours is the total "First comes love, than comes marriage, than comes the baby carriage" story! :)

    We went to the same school together since first grade, were friends, then best friends, then started dating Jr. year, became a couple end of Sr. year and walked together at graduation, got married and now have 2 beautiful babies, a son who's 2 years and a daughter who's 9 months... we are both 27, and have been together over 9 years now! So lucky to have found my soulmate early in life! :heart:

    We were in 9th grade in high school. Both of us were sitting on the bleachers in gym and he kicked me....lol. Well, I didn't like him, but soon in junior year, we became the best of friends. Now, 8 years later, 3 kids and 4 years of marriage under our belt, we're as happy now as we were back then. :)

    Just when I gave up "looking" he literally walked into my life...

    My roomie Sam and I were headed to a party with this dude that referred to himself as "Cowboy Dave" (already a give-in you should find new friends) and we run into these 2 guys. Ray, from Sam's hometown, and his roommate Kevin. Apparently, Kevin wasn't blind because he realized how incredibly gorgeous I am and pursued me. Since this has never happened before I bit the bait and we've been happy as clams ever since. (together almost 7 yrs, married 3 in 2 weeks)

    Sam and Ray served as our maid of honor and best man at our wedding. :bigsmile:

    LOL!!! This is so awesome! A lot of people can't believe we met this way but it happens! I had seen his toon many times in the AH and he was a paladin tank during BC (when we first met) and I would always bugged him to tank Shattered Halls for me lol! I saw him a couple of times during Vanilla but mostly BC. I played a hunter during BC/Wrath/Vanilla. It wasn't until the end of BC that we started "dating". :P

    We met online...Both looking for just a "friend" to date occasionlly (both just got out of bad relationships-him divorced with 3 children)
    I tried the site for a few months and not really getting anything interesting, so just before I was going to get out, he messaged me.
    He told me he was relocating to a nearby town, ( I didn't want another long distantance relationship) so this was a plus so far!
    So I gave him my personal e-mail (taking a risk I know)
    Long story short, we e-mailed for 2 wks or so, then arranged to meet in a public resturant for a drink...We couldn't stop talking!!!
    Perfect match!!! That was 2 years ago. Getting married in Sept (as soon as the fiance visa is approved that is...He is American and I am Canadian by the way)

    I'm not ashamed with HOW I met him. I'm ashamed about the 48 hour OVERLAP of the two. (whoops). 10 years and two kids later - still a little ashamed but will NEVER, EVER regret it! :love:

    you know, i agree...
    i met my ex, when i walked into a gig one night, when i was 18, and had been sunbathing all day, and was a nice toasty tan colour.. he was adjusting his base drum, and he looked up to this long expanse of tanned legs, in a mini skirt, and that was it..hooked....shame is, am now nearly 50, and we are no longer a fit for many reasons, very sad, and...am still not married..ahhhh..never mind, che sera-whatever will be!!
