    :drinker: Good to meet some of you, and happy to see many friends here, too!

    I really haven't thought much about a specific format for the challenge, so any ideas are completely welcome. The only thing that I will insist on is NO RULES! :laugh:

    Just focusing on getting healthier and more fit together! Maybe a question of the day (QOTD) or something like that could be fun?

    Ana- October 7 is my birthday too! You didn't think there wasn't a secret reason for my choosing that date, did you? :wink:

    Everybody- So how is everyone doing today? Me, I suddenly got a bad cold yesterday afternoon but had lots to do at work, so I'm here instead of home in bed where I should be. :ohwell:

    This is such a bad time for me to get sick. I know that there is never a good time, but I would be totally fine getting sick NEXT week. Tomorrow my brother is coming to town, and I only get to see him twice a year. I hate that I may be sick for part or all of his stay. Plus, I just started my 6 Week 6 Pack challenge, and now will have to start that over next week more than likely. Sigh.

    Today may be another "count housework as exercise" kinda day for me, because I'm not feeling well but do have lots of housework to do to get ready for my bro's arrival.

    QOTD: What is your favorite kind of exercise to do and why?

    Leah- sorry to hear about your cold. Winter colds are bad, but summer ones are worse. I hope you feel better soon.

    I hurt my ankle last night. I did Turbo Fire HIIT 15 last night for the first time. I don't think I hurt myself while doing it. I didn't feel it until hours later. I wore sneakers to work today and have my ankle brace on. The ankle brace seems to be helping and the more I walk the better it feels. So, I think it's muscle tightness and not a sprain. Thankfully, today is a rest day. I hope it feels better tomorrow so I can workout.

    QOTD: What is your favorite kind of exercise to do and why?

    I love abdominal and core work! I think it has something to do with the time I spent dancing. My jazz teacher had a crunch routine that we would do as part of our warmups. Wish I could remember it. It was awesome!

    DIET GOALS: I'm a newbie to diet/exercise, so my only diet goal would be to actually stick to it. And stop eating fast food.
    EXERCISE GOALS: To be able to jog a mile.
    OTHER GOALS: Stop eating fast food. Stop eating fast food. Did I mention stop eating fast food? That's my weakness.
    FUN FACT: I'm a full-time nanny (not really a fun fact), and a part-time balloon artist! I'm one of those annoying people that go into restaurants and makes balloon animals(hats, video game characters, etc) for your kids (...or you) while you wait in line for a table, wait at your table for your food, or flag me down and tell me you want a balloon creation. If you ever see one of us, tips are fantastic please! Hah!
