    I'm up 1 lb. Which is better than the 4lbs I was up mid-week last week. But that's what I get for letting life get to me, and making poor choices. *sigh*. Going for a better week this week!

    Last week is gone. You have a new week to work with now. You can do this. You lost 3 of those 4 lbs you were up and that is great. You can do this!
  • I lost a pound this week. I am at 148.

    Yesterday's exercises were completed with a massive smile on my face!
    50 Squat kicks..slow going but nailed it!
    3 Sets of Woodchops - using 6kg - SMASHED
    100 Crossfit sit ups for the Team - KILLED IT!

    Soooooo weighed in today and . . . um . . . I LOST 4lbs EXACTLY!!!! I'm 234.7 I'm so happy and proud of myself!! Thanks for being such an awesome team and helping me in my journey. You have all inspired me to push myself and now I'm seeing the results. Team Perseverance you ROCK!!!!

    I also want to let you all know that it is Anina's Birthday today! She was a late comer to our team but she is such a superstar. She is very dedicated with her exercise and an inspiration to me. She is the kind of person that everyone needs as a friend as she has such a big heart however sometimes she forgets to keep some loving for herself. Anina you are an awesome friend and I hope you have a fun filled and successful day. HAPPY BDAY GIRL!!!!!

    KJ YOU ROCK!!! Thank you for bringing me back to MFP and introducing me to a wonderful new set of friends who are on the same journey! THANK YOU FOR BEING A WONDERFUL FRIEND who helped me stay in line yesterday despite the temptation of the almond croissant you stayed strong...not even a little bite! FABULOUS AND INSPIRATIONAL!     Good morning everyone!
    My husband is sooooooooo cool! I get home from my workout this morning and he goes "happy birthday baby" I'm like "no that was yesterday" he replies "no, it's your b'day week! LOL!

    Anyway team: Today's exercise challenges were a bit of a struggle but I got through them even though I had to drop the kgs on the dumbbells to ensure that I completed them all!


    3 sets of 21s = 1st set @ 12 kgs & last 2 sets @ 10kgs
    50 Military presses = 8kgs
    1 mile walk - check
    100 crunches towards Team Challenge!

    3 sets of 12 wood chops: done (I loved these! I kept picturing Zusana 'cause she's so hot and 'cause her bod totally inspires me! lol)

    Forgot to do my crunches but I'll do them tomorrow :happy: Going to do 100 crunches 3 days this week and maybe even aim for more, we'll see!

    *** just to push myself, I did 50 Jumping Jacks, 25 Mountain Climbers, 25 Front Lunges, 20 Round House Kicks (each leg) and happy to say I broke a sweat. :-)

    Had a tuna fish sandwich with sweet relish, mayonnaise, and black olives this for dinner this evening. For dessert I had an organic banana and almonds. Was going to cook my spicy eggplant stir fry special this evening... but ran out of time. I don't really know the exact recipe for it... but I'll be sure to jot it down tomorrow when I cook it. Have a great evening ( or morning for those of you east of my time zone) everyone.

    STRONG day today....I feel great!!

    Day 2 - After Turbo Kick class, I:

    50 Military Presses w 10 lb dumbells....check!
    1 Extra Mile run - did an extra 1.5 mile!
    3 sets of 21’s - used 10 lb dumbells again!
    Under cals - very much so!
    Water - Way over...my back teeth are floating!

    120 crunches done towards challenge (210 so far)
