Hey Everyone, hope you are all having a great week so far!

Has anyone in this group ever tried the Insanity workout program? I've been thinking about trying it but it's pretty expensive so I'm just trying to find out if anyone who has tried it got the results they were looking for and if it's worth the investment?

Hey there ~ How was your vacaton?? My husband and son got P90X instead. I got caught up in the onsanity infomercial last week. Looks crazy! P90X is crazy too... it just takes work and follow through

Hi Everyone! Ju!st checking in. I am still here :) I think my last post was on the 13th or around there following my medical thing. I was supposed to be out of exercise until 9/1, but I had just been getting started and it was making me depressed to feel I couldn't do anything. Started back with my C25K this week - taking it a little slow and listening to my body. Back on track with monitoring my eating. So glad to hear how well everyone is doing with their goals and challenges!

    Keep up the good work!!

I hope you are feeling better! take it slow..you don't want to be out even longer. I'm starting a Running 101 class next week...I'm kind of nervous! Glad to hear you are back on track with your eating...you can do it

So hard to loooose and being careless in NYC for a whole week was bad news!! This week I will cut down carbs etc! I need all the motivation I can get after a bad week!

What helps you all to get back on track after a bad week?

    CW - 156

It's hard to get back on track. If I were you I would commit to the group what you plan is and let us know when you complete it. Like logging in all your food or what exercise you are going to do etc.

This site and this group really help keep me motivated!!! Last night I made it through 2 Gym Classes in a row   Body works with weights 1 hour and step class 1 hour. I must admit when my legs were shaking from all the squats etc I was close to skipping step. But I stayed just thinking of MFP and the pride I would have to report that I did it!!!!:glasses:

Hang in there!!!! We are in this together!!!
  • earth quake here 5.9 !!!! schools closed, some goverment building closed traffic jam !!! some damage done to few places, hopefully the aftershocks rnt bad !!

I am in the same boat. For 2 weeks I slipped and have had a heck of a time getting back on track. I said it last week that I was going to take it one meal at a time until those meals turn into days and so on. Well that didn't work out all that great last week, but I am trying it again this week. I completed one day yesterday and I am working on my 2nd day today.

My motivation is seeing my before pictures and my during pictures and remembering how good I feel being able to move and do day to day activities. I have also noticed that my hips have started to hurt again after months of not being in pain. I want that pain gone.

I plan on going running tonight and eating grilled chicken and brown rice for dinner. Good luck and forgive yourself. I found that works wonders. Don't dwell on the past and move forward. :)

Where do you live? I am in Silver Spring, MD and I felt it too. I was freaked out. I live in an apartment building on the 6th floor. I was convinced that the building was going to fall down. Thankfully all is good here besides TRAFFIC!! :)

Wow ~ Sounds like some really shaking went on! I hope everyone is OK, I guess I should turn on the news and check it out. Great comment Teri - Yes everyone come visit! Being a native Californian I have been through 2 BIG ones. Not bad if you like Roller Coastes, which I do  But I'm not saying earthquakes are fun.

Jenn - I'm movin my body....2 classes at the gym yesterday...Heading out to Zumba at 4:30. Love It!!!
