On a personal note... I am having difficulties... going. Anyone else have this issue? I take fiber pills, drink plenty of water, exercise, I know I could do better with the fruits & veggies, but c'mon. It's not like I was super regular before, but what use to be going every 2-3 days has turned into 4 or 5. Any suggestions?

    Sorry if TMI

I have problems from time to time too. I attribute it partially to the lower calorie intake (not as much food in means not as much food out), but I have also heard that too much fiber can have the opposite effect. Some fruits and veggies are better for this than others, apparently.

I did my big workout today. I do the rows every day as part of my regular "batwing elimination" routine, but I am still only using 1.5 kilo weights (I know, I'm a weakling). And I can do only do my boxing with 1 kilo weights! Tomorrow evening will be a nice walk downtown and some shopping, but I should get at least an hour of pure walking time. If it is too hot and humid, maybe not.

I skipped out going off to the family's beach house for the weekend, because my husband couldn't go. I will definitely miss the swimming, but there are still a few more opportunities to go before it gets too cold to swim. And I am still learning how to swim (but in the sea it is easy thanks to buoyancy!), so I'd prefer my hubby was there to help me.

Motivation high today. I've done my rows (2 sets of 15 each side), did 30 day shred, level 1 day 1, under my calorie quota with in excess of 5 fruit and veg, 10 glasses of water drunk, had me time walking the dog for half an hour this evening and now me time on MFP. Doing well - long may it continue!

I too have this problem. I set my fiber intake to 25g/day (which I read is what women should get) and have it set as one of the nutients I keep tabs on. I notice when I get 20g+ I'm good. Anything below that then I start to have 'issues'. Hope this helps :)

O.K. This is my 1st post here. I havent been motivated at all this week. My long time friend at work is moving to Florida and we live in Indiana. We have had doctors buying lunch 3 days this week, so my choices have been bad. That in turn makes me sluggish and not into walking. SO... tomorrow is a new day, right? I have been doing my weights everyday though. Rows included even before I knew we were doing them here! I met my ladies, very cool. The first post here it says I am paired up with...Kimberly Bryant, and juliecat1. THEN a few pages later, I see Kim is paired with someone else. So... who is my partner? I am cool with both gals, I just am wondering who I am really with? If you can check and let me know.

This weekend is the Harvest fest. A small town fest. My daughter won the title of little miss harvest fest, so she has to be there all weekend doing princess stuff. I hope to walk a ton and make good food choices.

For the food portion of the challenge, I read everything. I use my app and check calories when we are eating out. My girls even read lables too.
  • I gotta say, I don't agree with doing the same exact exercise every day. I don't think it's good to overexercise a particular muscle like that. So, that being said, when it comes to workout stuff, I'll incorporate your recommendation where I see fit.

Hello ladies! I did some rows today with my exercise class; almost a 60 minute workout so pretty good job today. Of course, then I had to go and have pizza for dinner; but my hubby ordered it while I was gone sooo --- :embarassed: But - I still managed to stay under calories.

I don't know about you ladies but I am sooo happy tomorrow is Friday! I'm ready for the weekend!!  No big plans but I am going to have my 'me' time and get a mani/pedi; think I'm going to get solar nails this time (white tips). Can't wait!

Hope you all of a good night!

Well my me time is done tonight by watching Big Brother. Rows done, not sure if I'm going to the gym tonight yet or not. If I do, it won't be until after 10pm. Was gone all day running my child to appointments. Eating not that good. Will bust a** tomorrow to keep everything under! Will be so happy when school starts next week so I have time to get stuff done and don't have to take children to appointments that are taking my workout time away from me. I just hope i still have at least a pound loss this week!

This is my me time... catching up on my boards. I can't wait till saturday. I really have some ME time planned. I have yoga, then a childcare class, followed by my hair appt (getting hilights & a cut) then if I can finish my hair in time, I get my massage.

Than ks on the fiber tip. I will have to look into that, make sure I am getting enough, but not too much.

BTW - I was bad & had a blizzard today, but I managed to stay under cal count. MIRACLE. I did miss dinner though, so I am sure that wasn't the best choice either.
  • Well, my diary frankly stunk today, and my walk got cut short by torrential rain. However, I feel as though I have made a big step in that I actually logged and completed my horrible diary... a month or two ago, I would have just avoided doing the whole thing so as not to embarass myself. Not the best strategy, as it turns out! I didn't get to do the rows today, but did get lots of opportunities for upper body exercise at work... we are waiting on a hurricane up here (due Sunday) so the store I work out had us pulling all the stock we could find of flashlights, batteries, sandbags, and anything else emergency-relevant we could find. Lots of ladder climbing too.
    Oh well, try again tomorrow!

didnt want to go to bed without completing the back rows. so they're done!
don't need to read labels daily as I pretty much eat the same thing everyday! :)
went to get my hair done today for my mind/body/soul moment!
  • If it's his first game then go ;) My wee boy started karate this week, what age is yours? Mine will be 7 in November and my daughter has just turned 3.

My son will be 7 in March and my daughter turned 3 in August!
  • Hope the Bettys in Irene's path are/remain safe. For me: rows, exercise, bettying done....Leela, seems like my jogging hangup is more mental....more than anything else! although taking day off tomorrow.
    hope everyone is well!

    Oh snap!

My diary was rubbish today but I was still ok calorie wise.I had major chocolate cravings - always happens to me once a month, I avoided fizzy juice and chinese food.

Tonight I am going to have a pamper night to prepare for my anniversary night out tomorrow. My mum is keeping the kids overnight and I'm really looking forward to it. I've got a busy day today so will fit in plenty of walking around.

And did I mention - THE BRIDESMAID DRESS ZIPS UP! I have a few lbs togo for it to look good, but it zips up - phew!

My exercise today was weak. I just didn't have time to put in more than an hour. I did complete my rows. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Have a great day all.

Do we have to measure every week?

I did my rows, but they were different from the standing rows. The program I'm on had me doing them from push up position for the circuit I'm on this week. And I gotta tell you it kinda kicks my butt! :)

Me time was tough to find yesterday, but I did grab about 20 minutes to read before bed.

On my Zumba days, I have a really hard time getting all my calories in because I gain so many from an hour of that. I did eat pb and apples last night to add some additional in.

Hope yall have a great day!

    Morning you lovely Bombshell Betty's!

Yesterday I did get my rows in but never did get around to reading a book. I did take a nap though until Daniel called and woke me up. GRR.. LOL. Actually another GRR is that he drank all the tea and didn't make any more. So I wake up this morning gunna get a glass and oh look empty pitcher.. What the heck, is it that hard to remake some tea? No not really. Geesh.

    Will do my rows today.

Nutrition - We'll see how it goes, running low on food! lol

Me - Book tonight I hope

How many calories do most people eat each day? It tells me to eat 2100 calories but I barely eat 1200 calories. Am I doing to little because everytime I finish my log it says Im eating to much. Honestly I get full after eating so much now. Eat alot of snacks that are fruit and they fill me up but low on calories.

Happy Friday everyone!!! Just checking in to let you know that my "me" time will be spent in Vegas this weekend. We are leaving in a few and I plan on enjoying this last 'hooray' before kids go back to school, soccer games, and the rushing around begins again. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Make good choices! :drinker:

So, did the rows today. Burned crazy calories today, despite feeling tired and honestly cruddy. Calories still in check, and I don't feel hungry doing what I'm doing. Does playing D&D Girl's Only game count as me time?
