    What does the team think of changing the team name? I kinda like to keep the old name going. We are awesome and have the rest of the league scared of us. I say we keep the terror in place!

    SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE

    WEEK 1 – PYGMY SERIES
    This should be done in addition to your normal workout routine. This is a challenge and is not a replacement!
    Week One Daily Exercise Challenge

    Each team member that completes their daily exercise challenge receives one point, if all team members complete each daily exercise for all 6 days the team is then awarded an additional 5 Bonus Points.

    WELCOME BACK FROM YOUR DAY OF REST WE’RE STARTING WEEK #1 YOU ARE A PYGMY WARRIOR!

    Day 1 Exercise Challenge - 30 Squat Kicks* and 50 Jumping Jacks

    Day 2 Exercise Challenge – 2 sets of 15 Swimmer’s Presses + 1 Extra Mile jog, walk or run (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYwzaUXK6gs) * You may use cans of soup, tomato juice or bottles of water if u don’t have weights
    Day 3 Exercise Challenge – 50 Crunches* + 20 Mountain Climbers

    Day 4 Exercise Challenge – 2 sets of 21’s + 100 Jumping Jacks (Bicep Curls may be done with cans of soup or bottles of water if you don’t have any weights) + 1 Extra Mile jog, walk or run.

    Day 5 Exercise Challenge – 2 sets of 15 Swimmer’s Presses + 50 Crunches + 50 Toe Touches

    Day 6 Exercise Challenge – 50 Crunches + 2 sets of 21’s + 100 Jumping Jacks

    Week One Weekly Team Challenge
    Each team member in order to get the weekly team bonus points must all log every day and not go over their target calories and log at least 64 oz. of water each day. If each team member does this all 6 days your team will be awarded 5 Bonus Points.

    *Feel free to do these exercises in sets if you are unable to do them all at one time. Please do your best as you are much stronger than you believe.

  • Please remember you can choose which excercize you want to do from either series any day. You could do Pigmy one day and Bushmen the next. All I need you to do is report to me that you completed a challenge for the day.

    Hey Ralph!

    I'm still in - I'm going on vacation for a week where I will have limited internet access, but I will keep up with the exercises and post everything when I get back (if that's ok). I'd like to stay in the group - it keeps me motivated.

    Are we changing the rest day/weigh in day to Wednesday?

  • After looking at the challenges and realizing how I had a hard time in last month's challenge (just the last 2 weeks of Aug), I feel that I will be inconsistent with exercise and will not be able to CHARGE as much as I wanted to.

    I'm going to be doing more Yoga, more running (training for marathon), and STUDYING FOR GRE (Sept 25) so this challenge (along with my FOOD CHALLENGE which starts TODAY JOIN NOW ----> http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/332112-team-weapons-of-mass-reduction-september-forum-1<---- ) will be too much for me.

    Sorry but I can only log in the morning it's the only time I'll have Internet access all week. On a hiking/camping trip !! Getting lots of exercise this week ; )
    I never log my exercises on my food diary, so I was wondering for this callenge if I needed to start doing that or if just putting it here was fine.

    Thank you for getting back to me; yes I am very excited about the challenge for September. I was involved in the August Challenge. My weight as of today is 216 I have lost 35 lbs. since Jan. 2011. I am 57 years old; and have let this weight be a part of my life way too long. I have been married for 35 years. We have three children ages 32, 30, 24, and a 5 year old "grand"daughter. We had two dogs a lab who had to be put down in August due to health reasons; she was 15 years old and a bassett hound who is sad without his friend. I work full time as a Community Habiliation Manager in the mental health field, I've worked for the company 16 years. I am from Louisville, KY. Let me know if you need any more information.
