Ripped In 30 September!

I started RI30 today and would love some buddies to join me!! I'm a 30DS graduate although it's been a few weeks now since graduating. I've taken my before pics and am ready to see what this DVD can do for me! Who's up for the challenge of sticking with it all month!? Come join me!!

    I've done the Ripped in 30! Love it. You do mean the Jillian Michaels DVD right? I have been thinking about doing it again, I toned up quite a bit during it, and felt a lot stronger. I've lost progress since then. I think I am going to alternate between Ripped in 30 and her 6 week 6 pack DVDs. :) Let's do it!

    I want in on this challenge!! I have the dvd and was getting ready to start it! I will be gone for one week of the month though (vacation in Bahamas) and may not be able to then...Other than that I'm good to GO!!

    I started it yesterday! It's hard, but doable! Sweating and exhausted when done! I struggle with the jumping ones but I keep trying!
    So cool that it just happens to be the first of the month and others are starting it too! Feel free to friend me :)

    I plan to rest on Sunday. Saturday if I need it. I'm TERRIFIED, lol. I did 1 workout last week and couldn't move for like 5 days. It was ridiculous. I'm taking bromelain to hopefully help w/the inflammation. I'm pretty out of shape and her workout really kicked my *kitten*.

    Mine will vary. I will rest when I'm worn out or have a long run. (usually sat or sun)

    Lots of water! And I would take an ibuprophen at night before you go to bed. Really let's your muscles rest, you too. Lol.

    Let's get to know each other! Post yours stats and what you're hoping to accomplish during this 30 days. Every I want us to check in on here. 30 ds kicked my butt. I had trouble walking down the stairs for 4 days. But I know so much can be accomplished with this workout. You have to push through the soreness that first week. I so promise it gets better!

    My goal is not so much weight loss (the # on the scale) as much as it is burning fat and gaining muscle. I want to be strong, not weak. I want to do REAL pushups. I'll have to post some measurements later. What measurements should I be taking? I've never measured myself before...

    i want to lose 6.8 pounds on the dvd. i am at 151.8 and would love for this dvd to bring me down to 145. i am trying to eat less bread and sugar and eat more fruit and veggies!

    My goals are not so much about the weight either. I want to be fit and toned. I want my belly gone. I look pregnant :( I hope that I have as good of results with this as I did with 30 DS.

    My starting weight is 128.8. Looking forward to this! I don't do measurements, but I did take my before pictures and I'll take my afters when I'm done!

    Im in!!! How awesome to have someone do it with you!!! Ok so I'm nelly I'm 154 and I would like to lose 5 to 7 pounds I just wanna be under 150 I been stuck in 150 to 156 the last 4 yrs so yea I need a change !!

    So I did lvl 1 day 1 this morning... today was also my day of running. My legs didn't like me much at all. I couldn't run the same distance or speed. My thighs felt like jelly. They've been sore all day. lol. I'm not worried. I know it'll get better. I find it amusing how the body can literally say, nope, not gonna do it!! lol I have to say, I'm not looking very forward to tomorrow mornings workout. Or I should say, my legs aren't looking forward to it.

    How's everyone else a doin!?

    I did it! Day 1 complete! I feel like jello. I feel floppy and uncoordinated. When she had us do the football shuffle thing, I just felt like I was flopping around. I can't wait to see some results: less giggle, and feeling more control! Screw those squated fly thingies... Ugh! I did about 90% of it!

    Dabbles and Kaecklund... I Haven't had an exercise rest day in several days, and 2 days into Ripped in 30 I'm very sore... So I'll probably take tomorrow as a rest day. I'm beginning to worry I'll "pull" something and HAVE to take time off!

    The football shuffle jumpy thing?... I'll have to work into it. I kept having to stop, do 1 or 2, and just keep making that effort. But MAN I was sweating before I was half done!!!

    I started Ripped in 30 4 days ago but I'd still like to join if I may. I started off last Monday at 60 kg (Around 132 lbs) and am hoping to drop 2-3 kg (4-6 lbs) at least and have whittled away at that fat of mine at the end of it. I'll probably do 5-6 sessions of the Ripped a week and try and take one day off.

    As for the soreness, well last evening was day 4 for me and the soreness was almost completely gone. So it does get better =)

    Ive been real shaky about if im going to be able to fit Ripped in my September schedule, im going to try 2nite. if i start it i will finish it! ill keep you posted.

    I'm not doing too bad today, still need to do day 2. My hamstrings are super sore and weak. They almost feel pulled. I just stretched and and man were they drawn up! She doesn't stretch them much in the beginning, so girls, I would suggest stretching them before!! In the first part of 30 DS the front of my legs were really sore. RI30 it hurts to sit on the toliet.. lol. The back of my thighs... ahh, so sore. I think once I work past that I'll be okay. The scale was up this morning but it's probably the shock to the muscles. We'll see what it says next week though. I'd love to at least get to 125 and toned up after it's all over. But at this point I'll settle for the toned and maybe a six pack peaking through. I want that belly pudge gone!
