    L1D2 complete! I went for a walk around the mall after work so I just now got done with 30DS. I really noticed the achiness in my thighs during the warm up, otherwise it hasn't been too bad. Yet. I'm really glad I started right before the weekend so my body has a couple days to scream at me before I have to be up early for work and getting my kids to school.

    I didn't attempt my weights on the shoulder presses because I wimped out. Then I got a bit angry at myself for wimping out right off the bat on Day 2 so I refused to give up on any other strength exercises. Even the side lunge ones where I was shaking like jello to get the weights up. I also surprised myself by getting noisy. Instead of just puffing away, I was grunting and growling and I think getting verbal might have helped me push through, especially on those damn bicycle crunches.

    Just know that each day you will get stronger and be able to do more! I love the noises! Works for me ( as long as you don't wake anyone up-hehe ) :wink:

    Wow guess I didn't log it yesterday. BUT::
    I have day 5 & 6 level 1 DONE!
    Did day 6 level one today.

    I am able to go through certain workouts a little easier now. But still having problems with certain ones...push-ups for one!

    Feeling really good though!

    I just finished D6 L1 today and I also can't believe even if a little it's getting easier! I'm loving it though!
  • I guess i didn't post yesterday either. Day 4 Level 1 Completed. I will post tonight after I complete day 5. level 1 definately getting easier.
  • :smile: Hi, I would like to join your motivation group. I also started the 30DS on Tuesday so am now on Day 5 and have completed this. I am still pretty sore today (although I did jog for 35 mins also which hasn't helped the soreness in my thighs). My details are as follows:

    Age: 40 years old
    Weight on 20 Sept: 165 lbs
    Weight on 30 Sept:

    Completed Day 1 to Day 5 on Level 1. Will continue on level 1 until 30 September. Doing okay and hoping to lose quite a bit. I am from Edinburgh in Scotland and I'd like to lose 3 stone (but thats probably asking quite a lot). I've not been this heavy since I had my son 12 years ago so I need to get a grip. I stopped smoking in January this year and thats not helped as i've been eating to compensate. So lets give it a real go eh!!!

    Today I just finished Day 7!! I took a rest day yesterday and I am staying on level one until day 10. I actually did 2 REAL push-ups today!!! I am doing really well with the modified, but I think they are the first EVER REAL push-ups I have done in my life. I made it the whole way through level 1 with out ANY break!! I am hoping that I don't get discouraged on level 2 on Wednesday when I do it for the first time. YOu are all doing great!!

    Oh..and I guess I forgot to put my age. I am 31. Also, I didn't get to take my measurements until yesterday, but glad I will have something to compare to other than pictures.

    I started 20/09/2011.
    I have been in another thread, but they want to do rest days and mix up the DVDs, so is it OK if I tag along here?

    I took measurements Day one, so excited to see what the difference will be on day 30.

    30DS level 1
    Day 1 check
    Day 2 check ( arms seemed a little heavier to-night, did extra 10 min stretch after)
    Day 3 check ( no getting any easier) 10% done yay!!!!
    Day 4 check ( still doing extra stretch seem so be helping)
    Day 5 check (had chip shop fish & chips for dinner not a good idea when doing crunches)
    Day 6 check ( still tough) 20% not sure if there's light at the end of the tunnel or a train coming.

    Feeling pretty good. Some things in the workout seem a lot easier, but those squat press and side lunge/shoulder raise moves KILL my arms! I try to go for as long as I can or at least lung, then lung and raise so I am only raising my shoulders every other move. I really want to be able to do the arms workouts all the way through, but it just hurts so bad. Didn't realize my arms were that out of shape!

    Day 7 Level 1 completed! I finally got through the whole thing barely stopping including that terrible first circuit (the jumping one) and I moved up to 5lb weights, hopefully by day 11 I'll be ready for level 2!

    For some reason to me the last cardio round with all four is easier than the beginning!

    I was worried bout the weekends cause I usually took a break on exersize....I feel better when I workout so I'm very happy I bought this dvd!
  • D5L1 completed!!! It's getting really easy to the point that I'm moving faster than Jullian & the girls!! Lol! I want to do a couple more days at Level 1 b4 moving on but I'm ready!!! Has anyone experienced your body (arms.legs abs) become very jiggly??? I have & this happens when I start working out but I usually never workout long enough 2 see results but this time i will!!

    Wow! Everyone is doing a great job!!!!! I missed a day this week. No excuse, just couldn't motivate, Well I caught up today! Day 6 and 7 completed this morning.

    Everyone's comments are helpful. I too find the last cardio set easier to do than the first. I too hate the pushups! (Even if my doctor wants me to do them) I agree with extra stretching afterwards as well. Was so sore the first 4 days, but have since added 10 minutes of pilates stretch afterwards and feeling less sore.

    Today I am jello, but I guess that is what happens when you double up!

    I did complete L1D3 yesterday. Focusing on laundry tis morning and afternoon. :( I WILL get L1D4 done today. As a matter of fact... I'm going to go put my socks and tennies on right now.

    Still feel like puking during the bicycle crunch at the end.

    I thought I was alone...but i see we are two peas in a pod on this one.

    I haven't been in the forum for a couple days, but I completed Day 6 this morning. The soreness is gone for the most part. I originally started with 2lb weights since that is what I had at home, but now bought some 3lb'ers that I will be using from here on out. Tomorrow I am going to add my regular routine back in. Spin Monday, Yoga Tuesday, Spin Wednesday not sure about the rest of the week, but that's what I have so far.

    I saw Jillian's Ripped in 30 at Target today and see she has similar circuits. I hear it is harder though. Has anyone attempted RI30?

    I myself am also nervous about starting level 2! I was SOOOOO sore the first 2-3 days but I am getting less sore everyday. I liked the soreness because it made me feel like I was actually doing something. But I know just because I am not as sore now doesn't mean I am not working it and doing good! I am supposed to weigh in Wednesday which is my normal weigh in day, But I might weigh in tomorrow because I started this last Monday. We'll see!
    And I did take before photos I believe on Monday or Tuesday I will take them on Day 30 for the after!

    L1D4 has been completed! Funny thing - I was so incredibly sore yesterday that I was wondering if I would have any better luck asking my own hubby to put a seat riser on one of our toilets. Today, I'm not so sore. Even after the workout, I'm still not that sore. A little but I think less than any other day so far.

    I think my endurance is slowly creeping up as well. I made it through more jumping jacks, more jump rope, more squat and press things (I didn't put down my weights even though I didn't push up on all of them) and ALL BUT 2 of the butterfly crunches.
