I'm not quite sure why, but I've been fortunate to have been involved in conversations where I've heard the followng"

Is that "credik" or debit?

Girl, I went to the mall this weekend and "spunt" all my money.

I need to get these "teef" (teeth) looked at.

Can you give me the "pacific" (specific) place you found this?

See, that's what I'm "tombot" (talking about)

Your turn...what kind of foolish things have you heard come out of people's mouths??

  • Mom to her child: "Boy, sat down!" Instead of "sit" down.

Client: "I got fired & it weren't even my fault."

Co-worker: "My church is getting together to pray for the community, the city, the state, the country AND America."

It grinds my daughter's gears when she hears someone say "conversate".....and if I'm offered Skrawberries from my friend up the skreet...I normally decline.... Because I'm fairly sure they don't wash their fruit...

I specifically say pacifically sometimes because I heard a woman say "pacifically" during a senior presentation in college....blew me away. I usually only say it around my wife
