    I hope by the time I am a 14 or 12 I feel confident enough to wear one in public- I wore one at home the other day and I am a 20 - not a beautiful sight though my husband thought I looked good~

    As long as the persons comfortable, I don't see a problem.

    People who don't agree can just choose not to look at you.

    This exactly. It's none of my business what anyone else wears. If you feel good in it, wear it.

    And honestly, if you're a certain size or shape, you're still going to be that same size and shape whether you're in a bikini, one piece or wear a tshirt over it all.

    Personally, I feel like a shapeless blob in most one-pieces. Even at my heaviest, I at least had a chest, midsection and lower torso in a bikini, instead of just a marshmallow-shaped torso. :embarassed:
