    Are we all introverts?

If we are then how are we going to talk when we all finally get to meet in person? Who is going to speak up first???? I know...let Eveyln. She's the newest one in this group, make her do it. I'll just watch you all from the corner of the room (it's also called stalking) smiley-shocked007.gif

I could take offense to that, but it's true!!!!!hahahahaha Best to shut me down after a glass or two!!:drinker: Denise, my granddaughter literally(i don't like them at all) shoved a candy corn in my mouth, today, so I ate it in your honor, 28 stinkin calories, for something I don't like!!:grumble: But, good girl that I am, I added it in my diary!!!!!! So sorry for your daughter and son- in- law, that's always a hard thing to go thru, but I'm sure you and Ken will get her thru it.. You're a good mom, good luck. Hi kim, glad you've been lerking, lol good to hear from you, tho. Summer is winding down and everyone is busy with yards, gardens, etc. I think we are all introverts,Marianne, but I would come up to everyone with a hug, I am a hugger if I care about you!! I think it will be like we've known each other forever, I really do!! I tend to have a dirty mouth too,Marianne,I see they've blanked me out a time or two!!!! Well, we are packing for camp tomorrow, so I guess I had better act busy for a while.
  • Marianne you were commenting on sleeveless shirts & daisy dukes an I didn't read the quote on your next post "chaps my hide" and I was thinking of someone wearing chaps with their butt hanging out!,

Denise, sorry to hear about your daughters situation, but sometimes living in a normal environment is a big help when trying to make it through a divorce, especially when there are kids involved.

Peggy, I am with you on the candy corn, even the dark colored ones, yuck

I think if we all come together in a group that we would get rid of some of our personal hangups since we have been honest and shared with everyone what they are.

I had to close my partition at work just a few minutes ago. The woman on the other side of the wall, never shuts her mouth, constantly noise emitting from her, useless, meaningless, noise. I am not a violent person by any means, but I would love to take a stun gun to her vocal cords! Or invent a laryngitis spray. Have PMS this week and my patience gets thin
The saying inside the dove peanut butter square I just ate said" make whatever you do count". No kiddin, how many calories in that little gem?

Well, now I have had my fix it's back to work. Later ladies... Hope everyone is having a good day.

    Hi everyone,

Trying to catch up. It's busy, that's all. I teach another class tonight.

Denise -- so glad your daughter and grandchildren have you and Ken to get them through this difficult time!

Kim -- good luck with PMS. Just wondering if " make whatever you do count" refers to lining up the scope correctly before hitting the vocal chords hahahahahahaha!

Elizabeth -- glad you are back... sleeveless or decked out in Ritz : )

Marianne -- did you watch the Oprah life class yet?

Evelyn - have you heard from that baby girl of yours? How's she doing?

Peggy - how's baby Caden? Good for you in accounting for that rouge candy corn!!!!!

As for the Breakfast Club.... would we have otherwise met? Who are you? Who do people say you are? What do the voices (negative or delusional) say you are?

You need to watch the Oprah class and you get some direction on untangling those questions. I'll comment later, when I have a little more time.

I got the call..ok it was a text actually, but my daughter will be here in a little while. She said she is packed for two days right now and she isn't sure what my granddaughter is doing. I guess at 12 you get a choice. I would have packed her *kitten* up and put her in the car. Oops, did I say that?

Anyway, things are about to get interesting around here. Cross your fingers and toes for me. And if you want to say a prayer, I won't object. I need all the help I can get.

    Thanks for the support Bellas!

Did I miss the answer to the question? Are you going to make me scroll way back until I find the appropriate discussion? Can't you give it to me in a nutshell? No nut, just the shell, thank you

This all goes back to "LOGGING ALL YOUR FOOD" and then asking people why they can't lose weight.

    Hey there,

Denise - sending you prayers, encouragement and strength as you support your daughter. Your heart must be breaking for her; realizing the tough road ahead. So very thankful she has you for support. You are going into this with your eyes wide open and keeping your health and their well being all into perspective. You are a terrific lady! We have all the confidence in world that you will figure out how to make this work.

Peggy -- hope you are able to enjoy the weekend amongst all the details of packing up for the year.

I can't believe everyone here is an introvert!!!!! I am an extrovert. 5yjbztv.gif

Oh, and I had to keep myself from cracking up tonight in the middle of teaching class. The walls are mirrored, so there is no getting away from myself. I wear sleeveless tank tops to teach in. I kept trying to see if my arms were flabby from different angles... you made me paranoid!! I'm happy to say they are in respectable condition, certainly could be smaller, but are tone. It's a process.

I'm tired and need to get up early for my 8:00 a.m. class. My morning classes are still light in attendance; evenings are better. My Monday & Tuesday night community classes are well attended. People are happy and say they are signing up for the next session. We'll see where things go from there.

    Have a great night everyone!

  • WooHoo! My car is fixed and it only cost me $40.00. Well, $40 plus $15 or so in parts. What was wrong with it you ask?

When we went on our trip, I told my husband it seemed to be running a little rough. He didnt notice, so I didn't pay much attention. One day while away, I drove another 150 miles to see that great-niece of mine, and shortly after take-off, I decided to stop and get some air in my tires, as all of them felt low. A nice gentleman helped me (and yes, I can and do put my own air in my tires, but he offered so I let him) and then left. Before I left the parking lot, the car was making a lot of thwacking noise, so I pulled over, got out, looked to see if I had a flat, and I didnt. But I did realize that the man had overinflated my tires. So, when I got to my niece's house, I asked my nephew-in-law to deflate the tires, which he did. By the way, the thwacking noise had stopped, but there was still something not right. Drove back, left the next day with husband and came home. Isnt this interesting reading?

I still didnt think the car was running right, but the next day, the noise was horrific. Made an appointment with my local mechanic, but the next day was looking to see if there was something hanging off underneath the car and discovered that I had three out of five lug nuts on the back passenger wheel missing :noway: And three lug nut studs broken off!!:frown:

I thought "Oh my gosh, someone is trying to kill me!"

I had been so afraid this was going to cost me an arm and a leg, but I went out (in a different car) and bought the lug nuts and the lug nut studs (for which I had to go to three different auto part stores :ohwell: ) and got it all fixed today.

My mechanic told me that if someone was trying to kill me, they would have removed the lug nuts/studs from a front tire. So I think it is likely that when I got the car inspected in August, they over-torqued the lug nuts. But I will be checking for a while just to make sure.

And the car and I live happily ever after. The End.
