Walked 4 miles in the airport yesterday. The air traffic controllers were on strike and my flight to Cyprus was delayed for 5 hours :mad: I didin't want to completely waste my day so I turned the HRM on and started walking from the gates to the duty free area :bigsmile: I had to go through luggage control 4 times, but it was better than just sitting there waiting.
To close the day I had to drive a right-wheel drive rental car to get to the hotel. Instead of shifting gears I must have opened my window at least half a dozen times :grumble: Crazy british system
You obviously survived to write about it so you must be an OK driver. I would have been on the wrong side of the road half the time.:laugh:0 -
Dinos - I have done that so many times in a right hand drive!!! It's comical!
Anyway - been off the radar screen - traveling. Back up on Nantucket for the holiday weekend and to help at the Farm. Had already logged 10 miles this past week but added a 4 mile hike through the farm this morning so my sig is updated. What a difference now that it's cold. Gotta catch up on some miles while I am here!0 -
