October is here and fall and leaves are in the air. Fall is the perfect time to start or jump start your exercise routine. The air is crisp and not too hot and not too cold. Perfect weather for walkers and runners.
Let's get back in the groove of things!:flowerforyou: This challenge is perfect for those needing a boost.
The challenge is:
1) 180 to 360 minutes of moving...it doesn't matter what kind you do or how you break it up...I don't care what kind of exercise you do as long as your moving this week. Point is to keep moving and doing something
Shake and Jiggle it! Wiggle or Bump it! Thump and Stomp it! Womp it!! Kick it!! Flick it!!!
- OR -
2) Burn 2500 to 3500 calories with a heart rate monitor
The weeks starts every Monday in the month and ends the following Sunday at midnight. Then we start all over again the following Monday for week 2, 3, and 4.
OK, so who's in for Week #1 starting October 3rd!! If at first you don't succeed, you keep trying...just keep coming back and reporting progress or non-progess...it doesn't matter...it keeps us accountable and that's how we commit to healthy lifestyles You can do it!! :flowerforyou:

I'm back Mollie!!!
I know today is on last weeks totals, but I just wanted to post here that I burned 553 calories today walking/jogging in 68 minutes. Today was the Second Annual Sista Strut Walk to fight breast cancer. A group of us walked 3 miles, add the extra mile to and from where I parked and that is 4 miles!!! Yay for me!!!
It was really great to see so many "sistas" out today supporting this cause!!! It was an awesome sight!!!0 -

Hello all!! :flowerforyou:
Are you ready for tomorrow? I am ready to kick some butt next week. I have not decided on my minutes yet but I am thinking my goal for next week is going to be 300 minutes. Have you all decided on your goals yet? If so please share!
There is still time to join us too! Even if you can't do all of the weeks please feel free to jump right in.
I think I may take me a Sunday stroll today too. We will see
Have a good Sunday and rest up for jiggling and wiggling today and next week too0 -
My goal is 300 minutes for the week. I am mainly hoping to stay on track and do something everyday. Good luck to everyone0
-
My goal for the week is 360!!! I plan to do 60 minutes each day. The weather is great for walking/jogging outside on my lunch and perhaps after the kids are in the bed for the night I should be able to pull of some workout dvds.
I hope everyone have a fantastic week!!!0 -
Fairly decent day today. 908 yesterday and 311 total today. Total0
-
I'd like to join if I'm not to late! Need to bump up the minutes! My goal for this week is 200 but of course will push for more. :bigsmile:0
