I usually eat between 1200 and 1500 cals a day. Whether I eat back what I burned that day or not usually just depends on how I feel. If I am hungry and it's not too late at night, I do. If I am not hungry, I don't.

If I had my goal set to lose 2 pounds/week, I would probably extinct. I'm 29, 131lbs and 5'6''. My goal is set to 1200, which is maybe half a pound per week and I eat back only part of my exercise calories. I try not to have a deficit daily from the goal more than 200 calories. I still lost weight.

1200 a day but sometimes - like tonight - I eat up to 1800 :P I gather it won't hurt too much once a week. We all need a break every once in a while.

I'm 52yrs old, 5'7"....my daily allowed intake is 1400 cals. I don't eat my burned back,
and most of the time I don't eat all of my 1400 cals. I'm training for a sprint tri and
try to eat lean protein, veggies and complex carbs.

    Good Luck with your plan!

I am 55, 5'4", weigh 155 and eat 1,200 calories a day, on average, which is my suggested MFP calorie goal. I sometimes eat a portion of my exercise calories, but try not to eat more than half of them.

1600 calories/120g carbs daily under the care of an Endocrinologist.

Any exercise-food calories earned - it really depends on whether or not Im actually hungry... .If I am, I will have a protein smoothie using Designer Whey, if not, I usually fill up on water...

My base calorie goal is 1720, but I usually end up eating between 2000-2100 after my exercise calories are added in. I would die if my calorie goal was 1200! LOL

My goal is 1200 but when you add back in the exercise calories I can go up to at least 1800 on any given day. I usually stay around1250-1400.

I was netting 2000 calories a day and losing about a half pound a week, so yeah, eating exercise calories.

Now I'm kind of trying to maintain but not really trying to hard (eating more, often) and I'm not sure what my maintenance level is...
