I am so very happy!! I am in the 170's today!! Not only that but I'm almost halfway through my ticker!!

My HRM.. well, I have to say that I really thought I was burning more calories then it's telling me!! My treadmill gives me about 100 more calories burned for my 40 minute program. Even MFP tells me that based on my weight I should be burning more. And let ;me tell you, this 40 minute program is intense!! I am drippng with sweat afterwards! I'm sure that the HRM is the correct number but come to find out that I need to probably exercise for an hour instead of just the 40 minutes. Have you found this to be true with you as well??0 -

Oh no. :frown: I'm sorry!! I've heard other people say this, too. But, for me, it varies. Sometimes the treadmill says I burn more... sometimes the HRM says I burn more. Usually it's the HRM saying I burn more, though. I think it is probably because I have more weight to lose...? :ohwell: Either way, though, I am glad to see an accurate count!! Lets me know how long and at what intensity I need to workout.

Yeah, it's okay! I'd rather know exactly what I need to do! If I'm only burning 350 calories I wouldn't want to eat the 450 that I thought I burned because the TM gave me the wrong number. Ya know?! So, at least now, I can be more successful!
How's your knee treating you?? Mine just started bothering me, both of them! I think that I need to calm down my workouts a little. I also googled "knee pain while exercising" & found a few ways to strengthen the surrounding muscles to help support the knee better. I'm definatle going to give them a try!
Well, I think I'm going to tune into the biggest loser now! I like to let the dvr run for a bit before I start to watch that way I can zoom past the commercials!! :laugh: Oh how I hope that get rid of that lady this week!! I can't remember her name... but you have to know who I mean! Her partner is Carla! Carla is going to kick her butt when she finally gets kicked off!! LOL!! :laugh:0 -

Well the day is almost half over and I'm hoping the rest goes by quickly. I have a RIDICULOUS amount of homework to do tonight and I'm looking forward to getting it all done quickly.
A lady in the SBF challenge said something about rewarding her self with a few bucks for every workout she does and I think that's a great idea! I think I'm going to give myself $0.05 a minute or $3 an hour. I'll keep a jar on my kitchen counter and watch it fill up! I want to save up for those all in one dumbbells that go for around $450 bucks! This will be a great way to start putting a little bit aside while making sure I can budget in the million things I need for my apartment.

I started the money inscentive a while ago and it's huge motivation. I like your idea of $$$ for junk fund too. Want some crap to eat-pay up!
j_g-my girl, don't be so hard on yourself. Eat a couple bananas, have a crap and reweigh in the am buck naked. IT'S ONLY A POUND! Where are you in your cycle even? Hormones and water make a HUGE difference. Drink tons of water tonight, you'll pee youself silly through the night and lose. Trust me. You're doing great....and we all you!0 -
