Just do as your quote says "if you fall down, get back up again" , You will be able to work it off and get back on track. Oh and you are lucky to have gone on a cruise.... One day I will. TGIF

It got's to be maybe from all the salty food from the cruise, so once you change your salt in take you should be fine. When we fall we got to help each other back up!!!

Come on and lets do this lol !!!!!!!!!!
  • I recommend using tinypic.com instead of photobucket, as you dont have to create an account, or leave your personal account available to the public (you can set it to private if you want though)...also a much shorter url :)

I am now at my driver's license weight.

I weighed-in this morning in my pajamas, and couldn't believe my eyes: 154? Then I weighed-in again with my work clothes on: 156. Then for a 3rd time tonight in my pjs after a workout and shower: 154.8. I'm going with a 1 lb weight loss, since I really can't give myself too much credit for the amount of comfort food and halloween candy I ate. Who knew that I would eat unhealthier by making meals at home, rather than eating out a 2-3 times a week?! Geesh, my food diary is awful. Where are the vegetables?

Anyway, I must be doing something right, since I am starting to see (& feel) results. I don't have a soft measuring tape to accurately measure myself. Actually, I have been using the tape measure from our toolbox... which is a little cumbersome, and i've cut my hands on it as it automatically recoiled on me. Shame on me for letting it happen more than once... But I can zip up and button my smaller sized skinny jeans. Would I wear them out? No- I can barely walk in them BUT- I CAN zip them up. NSV!

I'm sorry there are many of you

LOL- great job. Don't feel bad about the tape measure. I used the one from our tool box too.
Congrats and keep up the good work.

@ quelquun and @mscoco10- if you have any string or yarn or a longer strip of fabric in your house pull that out and cut a section lay the tape measure flat and then measure the string. It might be easier. :)

I too have been putting on the 'smaller size jeans'.... They fit but no I wouldn't wear them out in public yet either :)

Hey everyone! Sorry that I've been MIA for so long. Because of the storm we were out of power for a few days.. then after we got it back, my fiance's family still didn't have it back so they were camping out at our place and then the past few days, I've just been making excuses for why I hadn't logged in and started counting my calories. BUT I went to David's Bridal yesterday to look at bridesmaid dresses and it got me thinking that I'm going to need to be trying on wedding gowns soon so I'm more motivated than ever! This morning I woke up at 5:30 am (when I don't usually get up until 8:30!) and went to the gym. I did an hour of cardio there THEN I came home and walked my dog for half an hour in the below freezing weather.. so not typical of me at all! I'm planning on walking him for another 30 when I get home tonight and going to plan to go to the gym at least for cardio every day this week.

I weighed this morning and I'm EXACTLY 196.2 :( Which is what I weighed when we started this challenge :( that's a little disappointing however, I know that I can move past it.

Take care everyone! So excited to be back on the challenge!

    - Becky

Much better week for me this week so far. Missed exercise yesterday because I was out o late. Didn't get home until after 11pm and was really tired. Only a little over two weeks to go. Don't know if I'll make the goal. 10 pounds in two weeks is steep, but I feel great! I am exercising, something I haven't done in years! And I can see the difference. Anyway, maybe I need to up calories to lose, but I eat what I want, sometimes I am jet finished before enough calories reached.

Hey everybody hope you all are doing well. Over the weekend I had my first real Nsv :) After church on Sunday we went to see my aunt because she's been gone for about a month and she asks me are you losing weight and I told her I hope so i'm trying to eat healthy and i've been working out just about everyday. She was like yup your definitely losing weight because that outfit is baggy on you now. That made my day because i've only lost 6 pounds for almost 5 months now. So if you guys are feeling discouraged because you aren't losing weight know that if your working out and eating right you're losing inches, fat, or getting toned so don't give up!

I am struggling with staying motivated. I have recently gotten stuck (I've been basically the same weight for 2 weeks). I don't know what I am doing wrong, I eat more then half of my exercise calories back and I work out 60 mins a day 6 days a week. I burn 600 calories a day from exercise. I just want to see movement on my scale. I feel like giving up. :(

Havenlryxia - Don't give up! I know its frustrating, but all that good work certainly isn't going to waste. I was going through the same thing for months and finally started to see some change about 3 weeks ago. Are you doing the same exercise everyday? If so, perhaps your body is just used to doing the same thing, try changing things up a bit. That's what finally worked for me.

I guess I need to take my own advice, I weighed myself this AM just to see where I'm at, even though it isn't weigh in day, and I still haven't lost anything in the last two weeks! However my clothes feel much looser, which I know is a good thing, but I still want to see some change on the scale. Grrrrr :(
