November challenge
I am starting a challenge for november "anyone can join" .

The rules........

1 . Choose 2 or 3 goals to meet everyday.

2. choose 1 good habbit you would like to work on doing everyday.

3. check in everyday !!!! good or bad .

4. 1 free day a week ; >

Make this a great month !!!!!!!!!!!



My goals :

1. stay under calorie.

2. drink 64 ounces water or green tea a day.

3. excersize 30 mins a day.

good Habit: floss and waterpic eeverynight.

free day: whatever I choose between monday and sunday.

    I'm in so here goes.
    1. Check in every day no matter what.
    2. Drink at least 64 ounces of water a day.
    3. Exercise 5 days a week for 30 minutes.
    4. Keep logging into MFP every day, no matter what.

    Yay DeeBear !!!!!! Those are good goals good job :happy: Your welcome and thank you :bigsmile: I think it will be a fun challenge. I do so much better when I feel accountable to others and of course have the encouragment of others and encourageothers too. November 1 st starting date.

    Well you KNOW I'm in!!

    The rules........

    1 . My first couple goals will include staying at 1500 calories or so, drinking 128 oz of water & exercising 2 times a day..

    2. 1 Good Habit will be to eat dinner early enough to take a walk afterwards.

    3. I will try to check in everyday !!!! good or bad .

    4. I haven't mastered taking a day off of exercise yet!

    I WILL make November a great month !!!!!!!!!!!

    Yay !!!!!!!!! you dont have to take a day off ,you just can without feeling guilty, I will feel guilty and take 2 or 3 :blushing: so its better for me to have it if I need it :tongue:

    Oooh super, not been involved in a challenge recently. Thanks Elimay :happy:

    Goals:
    1. stay close to 1200 cals per day, trying not to eat back many exercise cals
    2. 30 minutes cardio exercise per day, 5 days per week
    3. 300 abdominal crunches 3 days per week

    Habit:
    try to limit myself to 1 cup of coffee per day, rest of my drinks to be water or fruit tea (this will be hard - I'm a coffee addict!)

    Will try to check in everyday, but I apologise now if I miss some days.

    Will prob have my free day on either Mon or Weds, but will still try to eat well on that day and may well end up doing crunches on that day.

    Hi I am very much in for this coming month. I had great results for the first half of October but with getting sick & OH having surgery it's been much harder. I look forward to us continuing this journey together.

    First weeks goals:
    90 min cardio to get back on track
    20 strength
    Keep my numbers in the green

    I also need to get back into the habit of drinking at least 9 glasses of water.

    My free day is Sunday

    Lets make this a no excuse november!!! Life will throw us monkey wrenches but we have NO EXCUSE to give up in November!!!

    I'm in! I actually got to within 1 pound of my goal and then gained back 8 pounds. :p I need motivation!

    Here goes:

    The rules........

    Try to get in 30 minutes of exercise minimum.

    Working on staying close to 1200 calories.

    I'm in! I need something to get me going again.

    1. My goals:
    1. Exercise 30 minutes a day 3 days a week, 60 minutes a day 3 days a week, 1 day of rest
    2. Drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day
    3. Stay under 1200 calories a day

    2. Habit to work on:
    1. Eat breakfast within an hour of waking up for the day and not eating after 8pm

    3. I will check in every day!

    4. 1 free day a week - Tuesday

    :huh: Hello Emwalker, surgery are you ok ? what a trooper you are :flowerforyou: . So glad you joined the challenge :bigsmile: I would have been sad if you didnt . I like no nonsence november :wink: I really need this !!!!!!!!! feel better please :smile:

    :flowerforyou: welcome everyone . great goals . Looks like a few people could reach there goals thais awesome :happy: I am going to keep a tally of check ins ones who check in every day or the most I will send a card too . We are almost there everyone :tongue: we can do it !!!!!!!!!

    I'm in too!

    1. Stay under my calories and drink 12 glasses of water and 1-2 cups of green tea (thanks for the idea!)
    2. Exercise 60 minutes a day and incorporate weight training or calisthenics 3-4 days a week
    3. Log in everyday (good or bad even if I'm sick)
    4. Good habit: Remembering to brush AND floss before bed
    5. Rest day: Saturday or Sunday

    We can so do this :-)

    I definitely need some motivation and accountability so here goes:
    Goals: 1) not eat potato chips more than once a week and only an actual serving size;
    2) maintain a daily food log/diary;
    3) watch portion sizes
    Healthy habit: make sure to get at least one non-starchy vegetable with dinner each night
    Rest day: date night

    Nice goals Kelene :happy: I got the green tea idea from anouther chalenge, I make a pot and drink it hot or cold more in the evenings. You are right we can do it :bigsmile:

That makes mama happy:bigsmile: I love you sunshine :heart: You could do different goals for when you are gone and when you get back if it overlaps with challenge :wink: Like Emwalker sayed lets make this no nonsence november :tongue: I would put that in the tital if I could change it .

    Amsw welcome !!!!!!! those are nice goals :wink: Potatoe chips are hard for me too, Have you tried snack sized like pringles or others that are smaller portions, also pop chips are a healthier version. Just an idea sometimes that will work for me :happy:

    Thanks. My little one with food allergies eats potato chips daily, which makes it a challenge not to grab a handful or two or three! That is why I need to try to cut them out, or at least buy baked or make my own in the oven. However, as for the full-fat store bought, that needs to be cut out of my diet.

    1. Stay under calorie count every day.
    2. Swim or run 45 minutes a day.
    3. Check in and record EVERYTHING I eat and drink daily.

    Good Habit;
    Brush teeth, mouthwash, and floss three times daily.

    I think I might skip the one free day. It might tempt me to take off more than I should ;>

    This should be fun and interesting

    3. Exercise for at least 30 min daily

    Good Habit: to log everything I eat; Good or Bad!

    I am in,... kind of new at these challenge things

    my goals are;
    1. log all calories eaten (even if I don't want to see the number)
    2. 30 min of exercise each and every day (doesn't matter what as long as it is something)
    3. go for a run three days a week (Sun, Mon, Wed)

    My good habit is:
    pack a lunch everyday - so I don't end up going out

    My relaxed day - Friday

    Welcome !!!!!!! those are awesome goals :happy: Its pretty easy to do challenges just check in everyday with results for the day. It will be fun .
  • Me too!! My goals are:

    1-Count EVERYTHING even on bad days
    2-Drink alooooot of water ( I don't like to measure it cause I try to chug it and make myself feel yucky)
    3-Get on the treadmill 3 times a week

    My good habit is-Taking my daughter to the park at least twice a week

    No free day for me, I go overboard :)
    Looking forward to this! Hopefully it will give me the motivation I've been lacking!
  • Ok...I'm new at MFP and found your challenge! Here goes:

    Goals:
    1. Stay true to my calorie goal and don't go over.
    2. Log-in and count everything EVERY day.
    3. Work out 5 days a week.

    Habit:
    Floss every day.

    I choose not to have a free day because once I allow myself to eat something unhealthy I can't seem to stop.
